Thank you. We've been there. The fort is surprisingly small. Would hate to have had to defend it. According to the museum, Washington did everything according to battle tactics of the day, but it just wasn't enough. The surrounding woods are really nice for a walk.

Enjoyed this. Reminds me of the Hampden-Sydney landscape when Dad took us there for football games. If you are related to Taylors in that area you may want to look into Creede Taylor. He opened Needham Law School in the county, one of the first in the country.
