Hello, Brian. This is Mary Mann. We worked together at the City of Richmond years ago. My daughter and her husband spent their wedding night at Piney Grove. It’s great to see you.
How awesome it is for this family to be so dedicated to preservation. There’s so much we can learn from these wonderful old buildings that you just can’t grasp through pictures alone. Thank you Chris for taking us on this adventure!
Tammy and I are finally able to sit down together to watch this! We live 2 miles from Piney Grove, and are enjoying this great video-learning so much, and thanks to you and the owner for showing off this beautiful property…
Chris!!! We just watched this video for breakfast this morning. It was awesome!!! I loved every piece of it. Def going to watch again several times. Thanks for your hard work in capturing all of our Virginia history. **Also would you consider making available a women's long sleeve tee shirt in your store?? Thanks!
Interesting. I've been past Charles City but not to it. The house and outbuildings look more like SW VA than E VA. Speaking of SW VA, you should consider Burkes Garden, if you haven't been there already. It was the original location choice for the Biltmore. If my memory serves me, that plan was ditched when it was determined that the topography would not allow a train carrying building supplies to enter the bowl.

Excellent tour, it’s wonderful that they are so active in saving these buildings from destruction or neglect!! Kudos to their family for it!!
Yea it's great that they've done this!
@@VATravelsI think Stevenson Ridge outside Fredericksburg has done something similar, moving old buildings and converting them to places to stay….
Wow the owner is so informative he has so much information you can tell he loves what he does.
Agreed. Very informative without any hesitation of facts
Nice!
Wow never seen a property where they save and move old structures. It’s like an old home museum walking tour..
Nice video, That's a beautiful property, However , it's unfortunate that the graves have not Kept up.
