Thank you for the video. Perhaps get a retractable awning on the side of the truck to keep dry in the rain.
Rooting for you my guy, keep it up
@@OfTheBlue thank you 🙏‼️
Look at me😂
Which type of oil does toyota 8fgu32 propane model use? The guy at the forklift place told me 15w-40. Can you confirm if that's right.
@@SuperCadillac08 that is correct. Down here in Florida I use 10w-30 but that’s purely my choice. You can use either one.
@theforkliftguy 1st time for everything. I didn't know they ran with diesel oil good thing I never did service it till now. Thank you
Solid truck bro! What do you use for your work order/ invoice software?
I use QuickBooks online to send invoices and paper work order forms.
Great Video Brother! Btw, i hate comfort grips!!
Comfort grips are the best lol!
@@slowaf_12v the worst 😂
Love the truck my dude, I personally run a Chevy 5500 with a kuv body and love every bit of it. It’s definitely great to have all capacity tools parts etc.
@@aaronmarmolejos3651 that’s awesome man! I’m a big fan of those KUV bodies.
@ yup they are nice, I’m currently planning on building a workbench bumper for it I feel like that’s the only down side to it. Btw what do you use for diagrams and service manuals for all the different equipment? I’ve been looking for a solution to that for our company
@@aaronmarmolejos3651 those are always tough to find. I use a website called Scribd. They have a lot of service manuals, other than that, I try and buy the manuals straight from the dealers
Still have a few trans lines in garage, like you said always replacing along with "O" ring on 90. Only stocked longer hose
Prefer big van, nice to work out of the bad weather . Hated being wet especially 1st job of the day.
@@joepacheco4038 fair enough! High roof vans are a great option as well.
Hey bro, I’m in California. I need some help. I just started this forklift mechanic job and stuff. Can you get a minute? Hit me back

I have two fuses where you showing in the front they are both good so the one on the wire is mounted on my genie

Hey do you have a number ?

Snapon blue point offers a brake pressure bleeder and master cylinder adapters. I use a mighty vac to capture the fluid at the bleeder screws.
My yale 5 ton diesel driven fork lift arms moving upward side but not working in lowering mode. Can u tell me the reason
Hey man love the vids where do you get your parts from! I need parts for a cat electric sit down
@@luislovo5053 talk to Tanner at material handling supply. (706)769-1830
@theforkliftguy thank you!!!!
So master cylinders are expendables item on forklifts. All those brake pedal pushes just wear them out that fast? I have a hyundai forklift with same symptoms as video. Best place online to buy forklift parts??
Very similar to 7k trailer axles . Only most electric axles use a cantilever system to spread shoes.
Correct 👍
When are you gonna do a truck tour?
@@tatemecham2484 funny you ask, I should be dropping the video in the next couple days 👀 hopefully tomorrow!
I use the same oil pan catcher especially for yard goats and moffets. It’s perfect!
What was the invoice cost on this?
Oil cooler can mix coolant and oil. Head gasket is not the only thing that can cause those symptoms
@@eddiereichel9354 correct 👍
Ramon 😂 Everything good 👍
Ever have any trouble with Hyundai 35LN-7A transmissions? Forward gear slipping/not engaging.
The only thing I’ve to say about the Milwaukee m12 lineup is the battery. It’s crap over time. They break easily and will require unplugging and replugging back in. It gets super frustrating and why I changed a majority of what I use for the m18 lineup. Especially if you all ready have snap on cordless tools you’ll probably be disappointed.
Awesome video. Do you work for a company or are you selft employed?
@@jesusperez8536 self employed
My engine light stays on toyota forklift 8fgcu20
Hey i got a volvo wheel loader and the transmission needs to be rebuilt. Im ganna open it up and hope all it needs is the clutch pack. Do you know if the torque converter can be rebuilt aswell? Or anyway to check a torque converter if it is good or not?
@@56wb56a yes, everything can be rebuilt. I would suggest taking the torque converter to a shop and have them check it and rebuild it. It will save you a lot of time. I personally never we rebuilt one, or understand how you would rebuild one.
awesome video and work performed and now im hungry! 🤣🤣👍👍
Excellent tool truck tour! My favorite tool you showed is the snap on neck light. I like that it comes apart and is magnetic. Keep up the good work!
I'm glad you liked the neck light, it's a real lifesaver!
Thanks for the video and detail. You're straight to the point with no fluff.
@@btsss thank you! 🙏
What do you do with the busted forklifts when you sell them a new one?
Scrap it if it’s too busted.
Thank you!! What a great educational video coming from a tech of 35years. I learned a LOT!!!!!!
Glad I could help! It's all about sharing the knowledge.
@ well if you are in need just ask. My major background is Toyota automotive but do have experience with all types of equipment.
What caused the crack?
Overheating 🥵 is my guess. We are not sure.
@theforkliftguy cast or aluminium head ??
@ aluminum
Great Video! Jaltest has come a long way over the years. It is very important that you have a reliable distributor for support and service.
@@wholefleetdiag it definitely has come a long way, but it has a long way to go still for the price.
@ that brings up a lot of questions…is there another diagnostic tool that covers this many brands and models in the material handling industry? What is the price in comparison? How much would it cost for all the OEM tools to cover the same amount? Can you even get the OEM tools?
@@wholefleetdiag if you know the right people, you can get OEM tools at a fraction of the cost. I think Jaltest is headed in the right direction, just not there yet by any means.
@@theforkliftguy Argh, Matey! 😉
Sir good day may I ask if a maintenance free battery is good for fork lift operations? and may I kindly ask you to suggest what kind of battery will be suitable for forklift operations.
Always get the head magna fluxed, saves you the headache of doing it twice

First time seeing your channel. You do a great job putting the video together, I enjoyed it as much as watching those Tekamo guys. I just started my job as a fleet mechanic for a landscaping company six months ago. It can get overwhelming sometimes how much I have to learn. Channels like yours really help fill in the gaps of chilling watching a show and learning. I’m in Ft. Myers too, cool to see SWFL representing.
@@Mars_Gamma Thank you for the kind words and Thank you for supporting the channel! There’s no place like SWFL, I love it here lol
I just troubleshooted a 637k where the front engine a c18 acert was blowing coolant out of the overflow tank. Took out the injectors and pressured the system and found coolant in 3,4,5, and 6 cylinders. Head and block were cracked. Im going to pull the front engine out on monday because the fleet decided to do a full rebuild with it having 15k hours
Brings back memories 30 of my 40 years spent at Cat / Mitsubishi main Dealers good video replace the anti freeze regularly makes a big difference to those Heads good video Tek care . 👍🏴🦊
Great point! 🙏 thanks for sharing
Head bolts SUPPOSED TO STRETCH (Torque first, then angle stretch for pressure clamping force) Google.. "Head bolts are designed to stretch when tightened, as this is how they create the necessary clamping force on the cylinder head and block; this is a normal part of their function and is why they should generally be replaced when removing a cylinder head"
@@ronelljenkins9712 I think you are referring to Torque to Yield bolts. Not all head bolts are torque to yield. In my personal experience, I’ve never snapped a head bolt. Anytime I see a bolt turn with too much difficulty, I don’t use it. Again, my personal opinion. I’m not trying to tell anyone how to do their job.
@@theforkliftguysame thing I think he is talking about, torque to yield fasteners
@@theforkliftguy your right, only forklifts I've worked on that you replaced head bolts was Cat with Pougote
Miss spelling Peugeot lol
