KUBOTA Excavator - NO START After Going To The Dealer For Repairs!!
Вставка
- Опубліковано 7 лют 2025
- Welcome back to another video! Today we don’t have a #forklift but we have an excavator! This Kubota excavator was taken to the dealer for hydraulic repairs and a week later, the customer got a call saying “Your excavator doesn’t start anymore, it needs new injectors”. The dealer replaced the injectors and that didn’t work. After a month at the dealer and no solutions, the customer decided to pick up their machine and have us take a look at it and see if we can figure out what happened to it. As you will see in the video, we found the issue and we got it started. LEAVE A COMMENT with your opinion on what actually happened. Thank you all for the continued support!

love your work brother!
@@kalefoster9868 thank you! 🙏
Great job! What battery gun are you using?
@@paullyons4624 snap on 1/2 impact.
Yeah, I'd suspect the plumbing as well. Does the pump have it's own relief valve? That might have saved the pump if the dealer's plumbing deadheaded the pump. Hope you can find the right hose diagram.
@@rogerthomas1982 I’m not quite sure if it does or not. I don’t usually work on these excavators. I’ll post a follow up video once done
love your content man, its awesome... i need your assistance however..... i got a 2011 cat gc55k that kinda has never ran that great for the year ive owned it. its the lovely vortec v6 and i have yet to see one that runs great. i have another 10k cat same engine, runs better than this 2011 but it has its hiccups. anyways, now it doesnt run at all, it cranks good, i intially thought it was a fuel issue, tried brake clean and it didnt even try, i also before that, wiggled the wires on that fuel pressure switch back towards the RH hand side of the engine and i did get it to run and it ran good for a couple weeks, but yeah im down to it not running at all and would love your insight, i was going to go deeper in it but would love to hear from you first.... thanks.
@@samuelw.3992 those Vortec V6’s are a PITA for sure! If it doesn’t run off starting fluid, your problem is most likely spark related. Or the engine is flooding with too much fuel. Those V6’s are very sensitive to air fuel mixture, as well as very shitty spark. A tune up will help a lot (if it hasn’t been done in a while)
Was he holding his hand over the intake to make it start?
@@Alexis-y3w to help it start, yes. It’s just a way to see if your air/fuel mixture is good. If it starts while you cover the intake, it means you’re not getting enough fuel into the cylinders.
@@theforkliftguy really smart and good job mayne I have leaned alot from your videos keep up the good videos
@@Alexis-y3w thank you! I appreciate the support 🙏🏻
@@theforkliftguy grazie, sei molto gentile
This is the reason that for me nothing goes to the dealer unless its under warranty or takes a special computer that no one has. My experience is that dealers overcharge for crappy work and you have to double check what they've done.
@@richardjones9282 well said! I agree 100%
I’d bet money that the pressure built up in the hydraulic pump and was bogging the motor and would not allow for start. They (the dealer) broke that plate with excessive pressure build up because they have the hydraulics ran incorrectly…!!!!
@@patrickgreen9747 exactly what we concluded as well! Crazy right???
@@theforkliftguy I’ve seen that happen with “crap” in the lines blocking a path, but never after a dealer worked on it…! Awesome troubleshooting by you two on this one…! Impressive work..!
What a joke of a dealer. I always use colored zip ties when doing hoses.
@@samuelw.3992 facts!
I hope the dealership didn't charge them for those injectors, absolutely useless!
They did. Over $2,000 but the customer isn’t going to pay it.
The dealers are supposedly the experts and yet they can’t even route the hoses right…
@@gtolex86 crazy right??? I was blown away.
compression should be around 400 on diesel
