Old Randall I still out there running around for me 😂😂 He's as keen as mustard! 😂 As for the Flip, it's almost in the class of it's own, it's not a Neo, and it's not a mini 4, but it will be a good drone for the vlogger, give it time, DJI will sort it out. I don't think it would last long in my hands. 😢

The Neo is even compatible with the 1103 11800kv happy model motors. And it can Acro. The video quality is more than enough for social media. These 3 things sold it to me.

Hi, Greg. It is a loud drone, and it can be quite annoying at times, but it is what it is, if it was possible to make it less noisy they would, but because it's so small and props have to spin much faster tan the bigger models, therfore it's the noisiest drone in their fleet of drones. As for the Flip, no update can enhance the flight time, but it's a great improvement on the 15 minutes or so mins I get with the Neo. 😊

@@MadDogsandEnglishman Gemfan make a 5 blade prop that fits the Neo and makes a big improvement to sound levels.

@MadDogsandEnglishman You need to get M1.2 6mm screws, or if you are really careful, you can countersink the props to fit the original screws. That is what I did, but I ruined a few props as if you drill even 1 mm too much, and then it's too deep that the screws will stop the prop spinning!

Hi, Terry. I hope all is well with you and yours. DJI are the best company when it comes to drones and their vloging cameras. I have nothing but praise for them. It's just a shame the US are going to ban them from selling their drones at some point, perhaps as early as this year. As for the Yeti, he'll be out again soon, I'm sure, I just can't fit him into my backpack! 😂😂

Yeah. The drone takes it to another level. I'm just getting into these DJI drones and loving it but I know I have a lot to learn. It's a great hobby if you can afford it. They aren't cheap with extra batteries and remote but you get what you pay for and they are a great drone 🙈🙉🙊

I've never tried flying the Neo with my phone, the signal may not be strong enough. 😢 The RC unit is much better, it's a great little drone. 😊

Thanks for watching, the mini 3 did well, I did think for a moment the fog may mess with it's sensors, but it handled it very well, just a shame I could see much, either wqy it qas such a lovely place to be in. As for the woke culture, I'm.glad Trumpmis going to cancel them! 🤣🤣 I'm sick to my back teeth of them. They have been so destructive for the world! They are the reason why we have such devision. Hello, Pete. I am certain that the Flip will turn out to be a great drone. Once they have ironed out the glitches, it will be perfect! The camera on it is one of the best, so I am sure the DJI team are working hard to resolve the problems.

I do need to get a pair of Goggles, perhaps when the Neo 2 comes out, I can buy them both. I bet it's an amazing experience. I would hope to see a whole lot more if I were to get a pair.

@ I think the motion controller is more limited but easier I hear. The goggles make flying it a piece of cake

@@shaunmk I'm not sure where the Flip fits in. It's not a Neo or Avata, nor is it a Mini 3/4 it's more like the Mini series, but the Mini 4 does as much of not more than the Flip. The camera is exactly the same as the 4, and why we buy the drone.

It seems the guys with the money and power want this to happen. Without going into conspiracies, I think they could turn AI against us and use it to do pretty much all the jobs and tasks humans can do. I struggle to see where humans will fit in. I think the best days are sadly behind us, I'd hate to be a youngster growing up in today's world. We once had freedom away from the spying eyes of an AI camera, I guess it's why I like the wilderness so very much.

It's just such a wonderful place to be! I hope to revisit it again tomorrow.

I have the same problem with access to woods in the south west uk. Only 1 or 2 places near me with public access. The rest are too small to probably bother with. Also restricted by not being able to fly on Dartmoor which is a real shame as I would love to fly there.

Hi, Nitchy. I can't really condemn or condone the Flip as I've never flown one. But for me and what I do, it won't work. I've flown my mini 2 in the forest. It did okay until it hit something. I'd like to see how the Flip performs, but I can't really justify the cost.

@@MadDogsandEnglishman I don't think the Flip is intended to be used exactly like the Neo anyway. I took the Neo down to Cornwall for a ride on the Camel trail. It was too windy for the Neo, but the Flip would have been ok. I basically bought the Flip because of the better camera compared to my other drones. It has it's place in usage for that as I like my photography. People need to look at what it can do rather than do a side by side comparison.

@FfilmiauFflur Hi. For what I do, the Flip just won't work (I don't think) I'd love to see how it got on, but the design of the drone wouldn't lend itself to the Forest as good as the Neo. However, what you want it for would work well. I'm seriously thinking of getting one, but it would break my heart if I busted it up. I'll see what goes.

I got the Flip just a couple of days ago. I think people are being a little unfair by simply comparing it to the Neo. The noise is a lot less irritating than the Neo, which is the only complaint I have about it, but the Flip is still loud, though no more than the Mini 4k I have. You made a good comment about the use near people, although I don't intend to do much of that.

@@UKMitchyagreed. I also think that some reviewers comparing it to the Mini 4 pro is unfair. To me isn’t it meant to be a hybrid of a Neo and M4P? I think it does that well.

@@syncroG60golf I will hopefully be getting out later this week, just having car MOT problems at the moment. I'm going to try it in the same woods I used the Neo in, but also some other places as I want to use it more for photography as well. I haven't had a chance to try the photo part of the Flip yet. Hopefully people will realise it's not just a big Neo. About all I have done is a speed, vertical climb and noise teat. Video on my channel if you are interested.

Hi, Luke. The Neo is an absolute machine! The Flip would have been a gonner for sure, the Neo does some strange things over water, I myself have experienced this, it to landed in water, I thought it was ruined, but after drying it out, it fired back to life. I don't think I'll be bothering with the Flip.

Hi bud, I search out a tree where there was a slot, I had my DJI Action cam on a spike mount, and it fitted snugly into a slot in the tree. so I used that to film from.
