Letting a young lady and her 14 year old daughter try a few of my guns for the first time. This was the first time she had ever shot her own friearm, the pink EAA Witness Pavona seen in the video. I understand that their form needs work... this was not an instruction lesson for them. It was to allow them to experience the firearms without any pressure. All safety procedures were followed, and I...

Table top review of the Taurus G3 full size pistol
The bolt does lock back, there’s an arrow on the bolt lever. U pull the bolt back in push the lever in at the same time
@ThingsThatgobang96 there is no arrow on this bolt, and no indent. I have pulled, pushed, and taken the bolt apart. No bolt hold open on this model.
@@wolfhuntersarmory oh well I have the first marlin 99 and it doesn’t have last round bolt open but I can still lock the slide back
@@wolfhuntersarmory that’s actually very similar to my 99. I’m gonna make a video and tag u
@ThingsThatgobang96 I watched the vid, and my 99c model handle is not the same. It's smooth with no markings at all, and there is no cutout in the bolt to push the charging handle into. I've had the gun apart many times, and Marlin did make several models of the 99 without a bolt hold open feature.
@@wolfhuntersarmory oh okay sorry I just figured since mine was older that they would’ve kept it that way
Sweetness!!!
Pull the slide back a little bit. It'll make it a LOT easier to remove the barrel. Also, you can lock the slide back while reassembling with the safety. I'd recommend also getting the stronger recoil spring from Mcarbo. They also have a trigger spring kit that's easy to install.
@@jdjeep98 it's a $150 gun... is it really worth upgrading anything? That's like upgrading springs and triggers in a hi-point... it's still a cheap plinking gun... but thanks for the advice on disassembly.
Appreciate your good presentationand work. It is what it is im not complaining:]
It IS a pistol. You have rifles and pistols. You are right!
Learn about what you're reviewing. The transfer bar does not drop out of the way. When the trigger is depressed it raises up in position between the hammer and firing pin in order for it to "transfer" the energy from the hammer to the firing pin. It's even in the name...
Thanks for the info, professor. I know how it works better now than when I made the video, and I appreciate you correcting me.
Where could I find magazines for this exact model?
Not 100% sure, but since the company is out of business, I would say the best place to get lucky is Gunbroker or a similar site where people sell parts and accessories for just about anything you can think of.
Great review......your color fill looks awesome on it.....
If buying a used one, make sure to get the Gen4, like this one. Its much improved. Look for this kind of grip texture, NOT the ones with diamods.
You can buy a mag extension from Diamondback, that adds one round and gives room for your pinky on the grip.. Makes it 7+1 capacity.
I have a guided question about this firearm... What type of 45 auto ammo does it allow to fire? I had a bad jam and I I'm in the dark due to it being used information would be appreciated
I have run several brands and types through my pistol. All ball rounds run fine. The only issue I had was with a hollowpoint that has a massive cavity in it (don't remember the brand). I do know that the Hornady Critical Duty and Critical Defense, Norma MHP, Sig V-Crown, Federal Punch, and Winchester USA Ready hollowpoints have run perfectly in my Ruger.
I just bought one the Mega Multi Holster for my 1911 with rail and Streamlight TLR-1. It also fits FN FNX .45 with the same light and HK VP9 with the same light. So far it works pretty well. Adjuat the spring loaded clamp screws to open or pinch tighter depending on the pistols width.

Mine came in a whole kit with holster mag speed loader and cleaning kit
The standard kit does... the One series is a cheaper budget option without all the accessories. I also have the Mete MC9 and the SFX that came with the full accessory kit.
@@wolfhuntersarmory the mc9 is my next purchase for sure.
Yeah exactly move the magazine out of the way otherwise the bullets will come out of the magazine and hip into the chamber
Wouldn't want bullets to hip anywhere... gotta stay safe.
@@wolfhuntersarmory there’s safety then there’s paranoid schizophrenia
@@christophercohen8712 and there are funny guidelines that UA-cam like to use to kick people off the platform. Thanks for the comment.
I don’t give a fuck
@@christophercohen8712 Based on this entire conversation, we have determined that is a lie. Thanks for plying in our Special Mental Olympic Games!! 🤣🤣
Why dont you empty the chamber, slide the safety up to hold the slide, and THEN drop the mag?
It dosent work that way. The slide catch is separate from the safety. The way I did it is the way the manual tells you to do it.
Wow , what a winner , take your mag apart n drill 1/16” holes in the same place as your stock mag , did it with the mags for my Glock 19 , n I have a Mete n a Dark Side Rival !!! Sweet Canik’s !!! They were Turkish military weapons !!!!
It was the sidearm for Spains Air Force
I have the “pro” mdl. .45
Mine is on order and will be here soon.
Anyone tried one of these with a Springfield xd-m elite 3.8?
Awesome pistol. Just purchased one recently! IMO shoots better than my glock. Two 18 round mags. Accurate and smooth trigger pull ❤
I purchase the Ruger competition version with the 5 inch barrel. I am disappointed that Ruger does not support the pistol with a holster or additional size smaller frames.
Love that gun, but yeah its like catching a baseball thrown for 50 feet in a high arc without a glove. Its not gonna hurt ya but you wont wanna do it all day.
Thanks for your post. I've had my Taurus 627 Tracker for several years. It's my favorite revolver.
Fun fact: Taurus had the 7 shot cylinder before S&W.
I'm going to go buy me 1 nextweek
Nice👍
Mine is a 1967 just a year older than the one you have
İyi günler, Bu videonun Türkçesi var mı acaba? Varsa yayınlar işiniz..
How many times are you going to point out that the pawn shop doesn’t sponsor you?! Sheesh!
As many times as I want. Lol. I'll try to tone it down next time. I honestly don't realize how many times I repeat myself. I don't script anything like other channels do. Whatever comes out just gets posted.
I got a couple 9 mm but I really like 45, and that is a sexy looking gun 😁
Absolutely Reliable and accurate
Its a new trigger learn i hope its my everyday ❤
Yep, it's an excellent revolver; a lot of revolver for the money: target sights, ported barrel, wide target trigger, beefy rubber grip, 7-shot cylinder... I have this exact same model - bought new about 9 months ago. 600 rounds through it (about half .38s and .357s) so far, with no problems. Smooth shooting, and I'd say quite reliable.
Pro tip…once you get the spring fully back and compressed push the slide lock up. Now you can easily attach the barrel. Quirky gun but fun to shoot.
Thanks for the tip!
will this fit c9 high point lugar
The instructions say it will, but I'm not 100% sure. The Hi-Point is so wide, that very few holsters fit them.
I have it I love it. It perfect
Do they have extended magazine?
No. They do not.
Out here cleaning mine right now.
It's a beautiful pistol. I love the design.
I had one in chrome and i wish i still had it smh i hate that i got rid of it im looking for one still. Hold onto it its a great gun man
I'm holding it for another 3 years. It belonged to a friend's grandfather. It was given to me by my friend when her grandpa passed. I've been taking her and her daughters shooting for the past couple of years, and her oldest (15) loves it, so I'm giving it to her when she turns 18.
Sick pistol fam🤩 , that’s my next purchase I’m into all guns but something about the pocket rockets 🚀 the original conceal carry
I just got one.its a beauty.. first time taking it apart for cleaning.was quite the adventure.much profanity.but ty your video was a life saver...
What’s the difference between the regular ones and the one series version?
Accessories. The One series comes with the hard case, pistol, one magazine, lock, and the owners manual. The basic series comes with all the same, but you get the cleaning brush and patch puller, holster, extra magazine, and a speed loader.
You know you were just messing around with a fully loaded mag and now you're messing around with a handgun with a magazine in it I would take that magazine out and make sure that the weapon is clear before you start messing around with it
That magazine was empty, but I appreciate the concern. I made sure all the rounds were out of the gun and magazine, because I do keep it loaded all the time.
@@wolfhuntersarmory I am well seasoned with firearms myself but you got to realize there are a lot of people that do not know about firearms that watch these and safety safety safety is first I know this you know what but they don't stress it to them
Do you edc this pistol?
No. I would not recommend any .22lr for edc.
You would need something much more reliable and accurate than this type of pistol
@Connor this is just a range toy. Not for carrying or home defence.
@@wolfhuntersarmory better than a sharp stick...mine goes bang bang bang every time i pull the trigger Im very accurate as well with it.
@@connor1982 mine goes bang bang bang everytime and I am very accurate with it
Think there’s any possibility this would fit a S&w 5906?
It should fit just fine. It fits everything I have put in it from Sig Sauer, Beretta, Glock, S&W, Ruger, and Taurus so far.
@@wolfhuntersarmory thanks
Do you happen to know what size allen wrench is used to adjust the screws? Mine didn't come with anything to adjust it. Thanks!
I just bought one of these for $270, how has the Promag held up?
The Promag has been ok. I have noticed that it doesn't always lock the slide open on the last round. Not a huge deal to me as long as it continues to feed properly.
