Blood Sugar Levels: Honey is high in sugar and can affect blood sugar levels, posing a concern for diabetics. Therefore, it should be used in very small amounts under medical supervision. 3. Bleeding Risks: Cloves can increase the risk of bleeding, especially in large amounts or for those on blood-thinning medications. 4.       Are there any health concerns that require you to limit your intake of sweet foods?Ragi is an excellent calcium, iron source, high in fiber, low glycemic index, great for older adults. When preparing it, you can reduce sweetness or opt for the kara kozhukattai version using ragi flour (you can find the recipe using rice flour in my channel). You can still enjoy one or two pieces, half an hour later, followed by hot jeera/cumin tea, which aids in digestion. Moreover, ensure that jackfruit seed is properly soaked and comprises only 30 percent of the total flour used in this recipe to avoid any digestion issues. Enjoying one or two kozhukattai is completely safe and beneficial.
