In this video, we have something mind-blowing in store for you - a Ragi Finger millet recipe called Ragi Simili that will skyrocket your hemoglobin levels!
    Ragi is loaded with iron, which helps boost hemoglobin production and prevents anemia. It's also rich in calcium, making it an excellent choice for those who are lactose intolerant or follow a vegan diet. Apart from that, Ragi is low in fat, high in dietary fiber, and gluten-free. It helps in digestion, keeps you full for longer, and aids in weight management. So, if you're looking for a nutritious and delicious addition to your diet, Ragi is the way to go.
    Ingredients Required (To make 15 medium sized Ragi balls)
    Ragi flour - 2 cups (250 ml measuring cup)
    Sesame seeds - 1 cup
    Peanuts - ½ cup
    (Note: For pregnant women avoid sesame seeds and use only peanuts. So totally 1 and ½ cup peanut)
    Jaggery - 1 and ½ cup OR Dates for oil free version: approximately 4 large sized dates required for ¼ cup Ragi flour.
    (Note: other substitutes for jaggery: Naatu sarkarai or Karupatti)
    Water: Approximately 1 cup required to prepare the ragi dough.
    2 to 3 tablespoons to prepare the jaggery syrup.
    (Note: stop cooking the syrup once the jaggery melts.
    Do not overcook it as it may thicken more and will be hard to blend with the other ingredients.
    Pinch of salt
    Pinch of cardamom powder
