My Airway Closed Off! What Was It?
A very scary thing happened to me last night. I awoke suddenly unable to breathe. It was not sleep apnea, but a rare condition called Sleep-Related Laryngospasm. I'll tell you all about it.

How to Complain in the Hospital - And the Basin Story
Thank you! I'm a paramedic and give IMs all the time, but for whatever reason I once it came to doing them I myself, I had issues. I'm not transitioning, I just have a testosterone deficiency, but know that your video is reaching a side audience. Thank you!
Why is there so much air in the barrel before the jab? I thought you had to get rid of all the air?
It's called an "air lock" which will keep the medication from leaking out after it is injected. This is an optional technique. See my Q&A video at ua-cam.com/video/Ib5GN5xwRuQ/v-deo.html.
Thank you thank you Thank you thank you a lot it's work 🥹🥹🥹
As usua, as in most things, I'm m an oulier😅. Never tried the coughing trick with it, but tried again, just to say I did fir TRT, Test Enanthate. Unfortunately, this region, as well as distal, lateral vastus lateralis, just doesn't work for me at all, actually flares up pretty bad, for quite some time,.....no issues for2 days post injection, but issues from day 3 until almost 2 weeks after. That being said, my quads hold and retain a lot of muscle, and for whatever reason my skin there and anterior tibialis regions, are taught, relatively thin, and never accumulate any fat there, ever. I'm guessing these might be the reasons why I experience what I do. From a random subjective "eyeball test," I seem to be unique in this regard.
@@gggg1122-y5u Ask your provider if testosterone cypionate is an option for you. From the NIH: “The main difference between injectable testosterone cypionate and enanthate is the carrier oil. Enanthate dissolves in sesame seed oil, which is very viscous. This takes longer to prepare, draw into the syringe, and inject. Enanthate is also more likely to cause lumps. Cypionate uses olive oil as a carrier, which is far less viscous and easier to inject. Otherwise, the two formulations are used almost interchangeably.”
I am here again. What’s wrong with me?? I watched it three times and no go. I will be ok. It is painless, this we know BUT ITS LIKE PUSHING YOURSELF OFF A CLIFF. 15, 16 years and still getting Jammed up. Once the needle is in I’m like No Pain!! I didn’t feel anything!! But it takes me half a day, putting the cap back on, talking it off, putting more alcohol on. One day I put it on six times. Last two times, the alcohol had been dried a half hour or more. Does anyone else trip like I do??
Thank you very much, this was super helpful.
It worked thank you
I feel woozy
Yeah that looks fun 😮
@@SportsScoopToday Not fun but not terrible.
Thanks bro. I’ve been injecting for about a year and I would go slow with the needle and I just hated it. That was perfect what you just explained no worries now no pain. Great video.
How do you dodge the veins?
@@mohamadsowaid6275 Go deep.
The coughing while doing it technique was super effective
👍
Looks like a lot of test in there doc. Plus looks painful.
@@Trenpace It’s not and it wasn’t.
i would bet that 99% of people here are gym rats...
Amazing. ZERO pain and quick. Thank you!
Do you have too leave air in the syringe or can you inject just the oil itself no air
@@jmoney145 The airlock technique is optional. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to.
Thank you! It worked. Much better.
Hey Nurse Scott, thanks for the video. I've given myself injections for testosterone as well. Although it doesn't hurt giving the injection the next day starts a 3 to 4 day pain in the muscle. I've tried my arm and each thigh. Now the thigh I didn't don't in the same place as you, having just seen your video afterwards. I'm using a 27 gauge needle. I'm going to try on the thigh where you demonstrated, but curious if you have seen someone who just can't go without a painfilul flipside. Thanks a bunch and I've subscribed to your channel.
Many people-including me, just get sore sometimes and not others. I'm not sure what it is.
@@thenursescott is it possible to hit a nerve? I did maybe cause i can't move my leg for good now for at least 4 days 😩😩any Tipps?
@@AntZeroNine I would talk to your pharmacist or provider. Maybe you’re not going in the right spot; maybe you’re injecting too much volume. I do know that sometimes soreness just happens, but if you’re concerned, get it checked out.
@@thenursescott i did the same spot as you, maybe it was the shock and i wobbled around with the needle and the volume was only 1 ml🤕🤕its getting better, do you recommend other spots? Gluteus? Do you have a video of that specific spot? Thaankss
Your the man that worked so good 👍
THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! ❤
this worked amazing! i didn't even think the needle went in! thanks. subbed.
Thank you so much for showing us how to inject properly! I was given B12 to take home over a year ago and never taught how to do it correctly. I just injected in my thigh and absolutely no pain and quick. I was tired of my arm being so sore! Appreciate you taking the time! ❤
How can it be painless😂😂😂
It really can. Read the comments.
I watched this 8 times before attempting and still hit a dang nerve… that’s not a fun feeling..
Ive been on gels for about a year now but i find it to be irritating on my skin so i have no other choice but to inject T now. Im starting tomorrow morning, Im still scared but Ill rewatch this again everytime im scared to inject.
I followed your instructions, and even though I doubt I will ever enjoy injecting myself, it is not too big of a deal to do, if I hurry it along and just do it. Thanks so much for posting this video. I can not see or twist myself around to inject my upper butt cheek. This is a much easier way to do it. A good slap to hide the jab pain, and quick jab does the trick. Oh and holding the needle still help too with any lingering pain once I'm done.
Just watched and still scared lol
Just follows great videos and on TRT myself at mo. Just watched tried it and worked like a charm!!!
You are brilliant!!!! Thank you so much. Following your instructions, I was able to do this for the first time without pain.
My question is, how deep do you have to go? I'm using a 1.0-inch needle
I use 1 inch. I have heard 1 inch ro 1.5 inch is fine
Quad injections are never bad, it’s the pip that hurts.
My issue is soreness after the injection (gonna try the cough method for the needle insertion too). I’d like to do it in the glutes or hip but it seems like all I’ve got back there is bone and fat.
Bro you are amazing, thank you so much
I have been given a 25 guage needle to inject, takes forever to put 1ml in. I had an issue with putting a needle in, masking the muscles spasm, when I pulled it out, the needle was bent.
had some trouble after previously doing my E injections, the cough trick works wonders, THANK YOU SO MUCH YOU'RE THE BEST!!
So what if when you pull back there is blood in the syringe?
Discard the dose, prepare a new needle and syringe, and inject at a different site.
This actually really worked for me thanks
I’m about to do my first injection tomorrow. I have hairy legs so would it be ok to still inject on the thigh? Or should I shave the spot where I’m going to inject?
@@leoh.7160 You should be fine. No need to shave.
Absolutely painless!! ❤
Awesome video!!! Really helped!! I needed to learn for b12 injections
I was looking forward to watching this video until you had to insert extremely unnecessary information like WHY people are searching for im injection instructions.. and the exact effing reason people are so done with trans people! Keep your goddamn private info private! Nobody gives a fuck why, who, how etc about your fucking sex life or why you need to take im injections! And so 1:35 into this stupid unnecessarily long video I’m out to find a neutral public information video!
Just did this without the cough you still don’t feel it

I was really intimated at first but yeah like you said once you do bam feel nothing just really tight that's it
Thanks I have always jabbed in my butt and scared of hitting a nerve in my leg but this technique is a game changer. I did everything you said. Wow that cough and stretch is so good I will pass that on. Thank you so much zero pain and zero blood. 😊
This video helped alot. Thank you!!! I just played it on repeat until i was brave enough to do it. No pain and very easy.
It's work
Does skin have to be stretched or can it be pinched?
@@pervinnadzaku8711 You can try different methods and see what works best for you
I hate to aspirate cause it feels weird when you do it. Is that normal?
@@WThomas You don’t have to pull back that hard. I have never felt anything when I do it.
