  • Healthcare providers should be safe places to be honest about your sexuality and gender. I'll discuss how being "out" can improve your care and how we as healthcare providers need to ask better questions.
    I’ll be speaking from the point of view of a gay man. I’m well aware that lesbian women, bisexual people, and transgender people have issues that gay men don’t and that I don’t fully understand. I welcome your comments and/or corrections.

    So came back to watch older videos. I appreciated my bedside patients being open, AND willing to teach me a lot. Especially back in the 90s. LGBTQ was not apart of the conversation back then! Hopefully admission forms are changing.
