Are u Christian or not u sound disrespectful
It's pretty corny, but I appreciate it. I don't really like hearing about such severe social issues though because it's the opposite of innocent. Let the authorities handle it. "Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven. Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven. And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receiveth me." - Matthew 18:3-5
Ball earth Mormons are actually surprisingly closed to the idea that the earth is round. Even when you show that the "globe earth Book of Mormon verse" is just paraphrasing Isaiah, and that the Book of Mormon, along with the rest of Standard Works, assume a flat earth, they couldn't care less. Trust me, I've tried.
This is just bullying people who have skepticism, rational or not, about what we've had as established scientific fact. There's no reason to believe that they'll have the same mentality when it comes to matter of faith. But even with all that aside, it just isn't true that the earth is round.
This is describing the programmed helios/sun god (heliocentrism) believers defending it as a form of worship and breaking the 1st and 2nd commandments. Stupid churchians who call themselves "christian", and staunchly uphold helios, don't even know or follow the 10 commandments of their own religion. Hypocrites! Remove the log from your own eye, then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brothers eye.
Cosmology has nothing to do with salvation. You think Joseph Smith is a prophet. You following a free mason who changed and added to the Bible. Nice self projection
His alterations restored Jesus' message. The spirit testifies of Mormon Jesus' Gospel not Jewish Jesus'.
im strogan it
Ok but did they reject god or you?
They rejected God's creation and work
Me, obviously
Forget flat or globe. The Bible multiple times talks about the earth being stationary. The Heliocentric model claims earth moves 18 miles a second. So do you believe man/government or the Bible/observable reality.
@@JamestonBoi That's you, it's literally you as you defend the helios /sun god (heliocentrism) you're worshiping and breaking the 1st and 2nd commandments.
@@ThisSaintsTheory Judge not or you will also be judged for the helios/sun god (heliocentrism) you're worshiping that breaks the 1st and 2nd commandments.
You should read what the Saints say about Christianity infinitely more useful than anything Nietzsche has said.
Freemasonic cult
Glad to know that they actually represented LDS theology, even if in very subtle ways with Graham.
Matthew 24:23-27 23“Then if any man tells you, ‘Behold, here is the Christ!’ or, ‘There!’ don’t believe it. 24For false christs and false prophets will arise, and they will show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones. 25Behold, I have told you beforehand. 26“If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it. 27For as the lightning flashes from the east, and is seen even to the west, so will the coming of the Son of Man be. Paul and Joseph Smith both claimed to see Jesus in the wilderness. Paul also gave the Thessalonians a prophecy that didn't come true, and Jesus congratulated the Ephesians for rejecting him. You've been warned. God bless
Joseph smith was called a prophet dumb dumb dumb dumb dumb!
I dont need to know all the answers. Faith is not to have a perfect knowledge , but is a hope of rhings not seen that are true. I will hold to my faith to the end and wish you well in the process.
Delusion is fun!
That's fine get used to being called a cultist because that's what you are
St. Polycarp of Smyrna (c. 69-155 AD): “Let us fix our eyes on the blood of Christ and the suffering that He endured, and let us wash ourselves in His baptism, and let us be strengthened in the power of the Holy Spirit.” (Letter to the Philippians 9:1)
Ehhhh this all stretches the definitions of love, freedom, slavery, faith into things they're not. While it's true there's an anti-intellectualism problem among Christians, that doesn't necessarily make them immoral. Also, there's a lot about Christ you left out: -Christ had the Devil as his enemy and made it ours. -Christ said "I've not come to unite, but I've come to divide, family member against family member." After all, Truth is offensive. It will always divide. -Christ called us to forgive others, not be vengeful or envious of their lot. -Christ never said "don't protect your home". -Apostle Paul said "our war is not against flesh and blood, but against powers and principalities" The freedom expressed in Christ is only doable by taking the _whole_ of Christ's law into account, and not becoming too apollonian or worried what philosophers might say. I still appreciate the video, it is thoughtful and does make me think. But those stretched definitions are an issue. Therefore, many so-called Christians are still followers of Christ.
destiny if fake fyi its all just careful planning by god and his dominion which can create illusion of destiny/fate, but the plan is malleable broadly speaking
our spirits are younger than you think our spirits were created in indestructible likeness in an overlapping dimensional ghost plane of the physical dimension within one universe but the universe is more eternal than god, the universe is existence and it came before him
I feel that Mormon cosmology fills the gaps between science and god but you got more than a few details wrong buddy the universe is existence and is pre-existent and god does not control it but rather was born into it as old as he is, he is not the universe and reigns dominion over much of space but not all we are even smaller and younger than you think because god has other planets that are much older before our pre-existence with people already on them, what is significant is that when it came to this newfound planet on the outer rim Satan wanted to be the Adam but was supposed to serve Michael who was to be the Adam, Satan did not want to be a servant so he rebelled against the allfathers command and fought Michaels armies directly using his own division of angels called the devil, and so because of that god had to change the plan, the plan of salvation only exists or was significantly changed because of Satan's rebellion... for example Adam was to reign or be lord over man but now the Direct son of god father/arranger of the earth's creation or terraformation is the Lord and the messiah those are new to the plan after Satan's rebellion... our spirits are eternal as made of nearly indestructible energy but we were made out of limited energy "matter" convolutedly programmed as intelligences of energy perhaps programmed to be attached to bodies and within it's own dimension layered on top of the physical "dust" dimension within the one pre-existent universe by the allfather and some say the lord Jesus as well has this power to create spirits and perhaps spirits are a shapeshifting intelligence one that can change its "programming" this may not be the best word but it's not easy to describe the nature of intelligence with a limited vocabulary but possible non the less... we recognize the term god as a vague human term for the god is an alien being Eloh is the god he too was born on another planet beforehand for the universe is multilayered made of many dimensions but is one universe even the mighty space emperor the heavenly father as old as he is does not know the beginning of the pre-existing universe for his dominion is one of many in space we know things most would never know that Noah is Gabriel and Michael is Adam even the archangels were born on earth to do gods work, eloh' (allah) is the allfather who's throne sits near kolob and Jesus christ is jehov' direct son of god is the messiah and is the lord of the earth and was commanded by the heavenly all father to create(terraform organize) the earth, god can apply to both of them but we call what you call the trinity the godhead which is part of a (space)heavenly government that reigns dominion over space and the stars and we know the truth that they are separate individual powerful beings but they are one of the same in alignment(goal)... always ask and review the source even god the spirits and the aliens themselves... its friendly fire nothing more incited by the former fallen archangel satan and his spirit followers the demons of satan's faction the devil... all humans born on the earth were loyal to god in the pre-existence, mortal life is the final test of loyalty, faith, and experience; before he properly establishes his kingdom on this young earth and quashes satan's powerful devil rebellion once and for all! remember that satan who was 3rd to god allah in the godhead next to lord Jehov' Jesus the Christ... nearly defeated Michaels armies in the beginning, the devil does indeed pose a significant and real challenge... all of the infighting is meaningless and is what the devil wants.
Both Vids of yours have interesting point, while i see vinlad as crypto Christian. Ebeeing slave to sin is a very well showned in vinlad, many quotes even thors thata real warrior doesnt need sword is very close to Jesus were His Word is a Sword. Many moments is S1 were thorfin was told that somehow he feels as he is a slave to a slave girl on the ship. Cnute thinking to be a better than God, falling and becoming a scum of a leader. Neitz unfortunelty had a very bad understanding of theological Christianity and based his philosophy on the common view of common ppl and it showes very well in his book, alo his ideas inspired hitler very much. but overall every perspective is required to understand someting deeply

Hey bro, how do you make the audio for this? I’m trying to have the entire Book of Mormon read in this voice haha
Thanks for putting this together. I only finished the first part so far, but it was very helpful. I actually just recently learned that the Orthodox-Catholic position is that the soul is created at the time of conception. It takes a long time to figure out all the ways in which Mormonism differs from mainstream Christianity.
I will be honest I have tried to listen to this a few times. And the issue I keep running into is the content of what you are saying is engaging, however the delivery dosent hold my attention and I end up having my thoughts wander until someone else starts talking and I realize I wasn’t listening. This is probably a me problem but I figured i would let you know my experience with your content. Have a great day.

Interesting video.
So as an exmormon I had doubts about the church as young as 15 but the reason I held on to it so long had more to do with the reality of being surrounded by degenerates. I didn’t grow up in Utah I grew up in northern Indiana surrounded by dysfunctional people but my parents being the exception I was raised in a two parent house hold which is the only real true social privilege. The truth is that I was only a member because I believed it would help me have a better life. That was a mistake in my thinking I admit but it is the honest truth. The problem with the lDS church is that its not lead by a prophet, so if you follow dogmatically your life will become miserable as mine had. Look, the lDS church is sexist against men more so then women. It’s an uncomfortable thought and so outlandish for most people that it sounds ridiculous. But I assure you its 100 percent true. This guy needs to stop going to Sunday school and hit the gym and lift weights and stop paying 10 percent of is gross income in order to make it to heaven. Look its coercion to force people to pay tithes in order enter a religious cerimony. It’s also horrible to make Serving lDS missions for young men mandatory, that two years could ruin your life. I know because I served an LDS mission in Portugal. Look, there is nothing wrong with choosing to not get married or choosing to take care of yourself first otherwise you wont be able to help anyone. Don’t be cannon fodder.
“Don’t be cannon fodder” kicks ass. Hell yeah, I’m gonna embroider that on my jacket.
Jokes on you, I do hit the gym. quite frequently I might add. I do Jeet Kune Do.
Usually people say the church is sexist against women but you claim it is more so the opposite. I am curious as to why you think that.
@@ThisSaintsTheory As with most everyone on the planet, we make our opinions either with anicdotes (personal experience not related to statistics) or we follow the ideologies we while developing. We usually don't become critical thinkers until our early 30s. In other words, there is no shame in believing lies when you are young but eventually you have to look past a narritive and accept truth. For one thing, Its hard to proof something problematic is happening when the sytemic cause of the problem is not understood or inconvenient to accept. The mormon church is sexist 100 percent sexist towards men. Why? hmmm this is really an obviouse thing but its defintely a "you can bring a horse to water but will it drink situation?". Meaning I could tell you in plain english, but it won't mean anything to you. I had firmly been told a narritive that women were the ones at the most disadvantage. That all of these maternal burdens were being forced on them and they had no choice in the matter but to conform. What I learned as I traveled, was a simple uncomfortable truth. No woman I have ever met, Mormon or non Mormon has EVER been forced to do something they didn't want to do in that context. What I do know is this, for anyone born pre 2000 if you were a young man you were told doctrinally it was MANDATORY to serve an LDS mission. I will die on that hill. The issue is quite plain. Men hold the burden of evolution. In otherwords society is designed to sort out men and cull them either through competition or arbitrary means. This is prevelant in all societies. Its just how it is, but the reality is our society has gotten quite good at it...too good, For one you need to understand that LDS church has been participating in this GREAT MAN filter just like every other facet of society. Its competition 101. Let me ask you, would any (attractive and intelligent) woman be interested in a man who lacked the scocietal cues of being high on the social dominance heirachy? My point is this, The church only hurts its youngmen and saddles them. The ones who will make it to be LEADERS in your religous organization are ironically the most self servering and compettive. In reality there is nothing wrong with this, except it is absolutely deceptive. For instance do you think President Nelson or President Monson served Missions? Frankly is was beneath them. President Nelson was too busy doing medical research and persuing prestige, Infact you might be suprised how many Appostles didnt serve LDS missions, in otherwords the only way to be succsessful is by grasping selfish competive traits unless you believe in free market capitalism (which requires a voluntary trade or service of value). Again, you won't agree with me until you've had painfull heartbraking experience, its the truth. May God Have mercy on your soul.
@@SamuelStorrer I served a mission and don’t have any regrets about it. But I think I can understand your frustration. Thanks for sharing.
When you're dealing with an adult who is gullible enough to believe in ridiculous assertions like Mormons and Christians do, you could have all the evidence in the world and it won't do a bit of good. It requires both curiosity and humility in order to successfully deconstruct, traits that are usually lacking in the devotedly religious. If you (1) have a functioning conscience and (2) read the entire Bible or Book of Mormon, I genuinely cannot understand how you can continue worshipping the god described by either book, unless it's just a fear response, but nobody is ever willing to admit that. Joseph Smith was a convicted con artist, and his writings are a good representative sample of the kinds of virulent racism that were common in white people at the time. I would expect an ambassador for the omnipotent creator of our universe to be above the shitty beliefs of their contemporaries. Or at least be able to demonstrate an understanding of the universe since they're communicating with the entity responsible for its creation. On a completely unrelated note, do you ever wonder why so many "men of the cloth" wind up being the kinds of perverts who prey on children? Since you seem to care a great deal about getting things right, I'm curious how much you know about Yahwism? It's the modern name given to the religion practiced in ancient Israel before they became monotheist. Yahweh was a Canaanite god of war and storms to whom children were likely sacrificed. It's really amazing how much we have been able to learn about history that we didn't know when we were taking religious texts literally. Kinda makes you wonder why an omniscient god would let those errors into its communications with its devotees, more of those mysterious ways I suppose. I'm sure you already know this, but you will convince nobody with this sad intellectual masturbation that you're performing here. I'm sure with a little effort you could produce some effective rage bait, but so far all I have is an overwhelming urge to ask if you need a hug. A common pitfall that autodidacts often encounter is that when you study philosophy written by someone from the past who speaks a completely different language, you are doing so without the benefit of an expert who can help you put the material in its proper historical context. You also have no idea how reliable your translation of the work is. I'm not trying to gatekeep education or say learning isn't valid unless done on a university campus, but you should at least try to find an expert on the subject you're studying who will be willing to provide the function of a professor for your studies. For stuff like calculus and physics, you can absolutely do that on your own because it is trivially easy to verify that you're getting the questions right, but it isn't so cut and dried for things like literature or philosophy. It probably took me a solid two years of independent study before I was able to feel comfortable / confident describing Marxism. I don't know how long you have been studying Neitzsche, but based on my own readings and conversations between philosophers that I've listened to, you even implying that his arguments could describe "failures" of anti-Mormons is kind of laughable. You are aware of the fact that people are deconstructing from Mormonism and Evangelical Christianity faster than any other denominations of Christianity or even other religions, right? I don't know how you define failure (maybe compromising your awful beliefs to get a state recognized or to protect tax exempt status?) but I wouldn't say that anti-Mormons are failing when people are leaving the religion at increasing rates. Maybe I'm just in my dumb camel phase though. ;-)
A hug would be nice, you are kind to offer. Yes I am vaguely familiar with Yawism. In my previous video “when Joseph Smith was aitheist” where I do a general over view of comparing Nietzsche with Mormonism, I mention Oxford university Old Testament studies professor John Day’s book Yahweh and the gods of Canaan so I am very familiar with his theory. I find it absolutely fascinating that Abraham’s religion was one of polytheism rather than monotheism. For those reasons I myself consider myself a polytheist. After all, in the Book of Abraham it does mention that gods, plural, created the universe rather than just one singular being. So I find yawism to be very much in line with Joseph Smiths teachings. As for the rest of your comment, all I will say is this. I think my end goal would be to become something beyond the doctrines espoused by both Mormonism and antimormonism towards something above them both.
Thiiiiisssss!! ^^^
I see now, you are right !! You are so much smarter than I am. God will humble you at some point. You're really just afraid.
@vincentvos3434 I wish I could tell you I told you so at some point, but once we die and our brains rot we stop existing so neither of us will be there. I hope you don't waste too much of your life trying to please sky daddy.
@@ThisSaintsTheory as long as you don't use those beliefs to subjugate other people, I honestly could not care less what you do with your life. The Mormon religion was pretty explicitly white supremacist for most of its history, though, so I am reluctant to trust it as being a good foundation for developing a moral framework.
Wait, if you think former Mormons are the lion stage and you are a camel archetype wanting to reach child-like does that mean you yearn to be an atheist one day? I don’t think what an ex-Mormon is going through fits in Nietzsche’s three metamorphosis.
I’m not sure what my end goal is. I just know that for anti-Mormons they are able to progress to the lion stage but often revert back to being camels for Anti-Mormonism. As for just your everyday ex-Mormon, it’s possible they just get stuck as lions without creating anything new while always rejecting the old.
@@ThisSaintsTheory First off, remember our into to logic course, we don't "just know" things. We have to make sure our premises are correct, our arguments are sound, and there isn't a counter argument. We don't, and probably can't, "just know" what our interlocuters think and believe. I get that you feel anti-Mormons have philosophically insufficient arguments to challenge your believes (maybe look up the problem of evil and other theological debates) but the three metamorphoses doesn't describe their spiritual position. Metamorphoses doesn't imply a backwards transformation so how can a lion change back? I've never heard of a butterfly metamorphosis back into a caterpillar. Being a lion spirit is supposed to be "master of his own wilderness", that would imply that an anti-Mormon has gone on a journey to get to that point. Any person who never believed Mormonism and refuses to would be anti-Mormon without ever going through the camel's metamorphosis.
@@babony5oh, trust me I have done plenty of extensive research on the problem of evil and have come to my own conclusions on that. Though maybe I need to hear more about it from you. You do make a good point about how Nietzsche never explicitly mentions that a lion can revert back to being a camel. Though since it is metaphorical. If one takes on aspects associated with being a camel, even if that person was a lion for a period, I don’t see why we can’t call that person a camel.
Nice AI thumbnail 😂
Thanks, I barely put any effort into making it.
The 2000 year history of Buddhism, the 3000 year history of the upanishads, and vedas, or the 4000 years history of Judaism. Take your pick. Don't see.much understanding of how nietzsche would view Mormons vs any other closed cultural system. That is to say, not very highly.
@AllTenThousand yes, thank you! Hes speaking garbage 🙏
You are right. Nietzsche may very well have viewed Mormons in such a way. That is why I said that most Mormons are camels who only take what they are given without question.
@@ThisSaintsTheory did nietzche ever even acknowledge mormonism directly? And yes, you take what you are given because you are brainwashed
@@microvaves I do my best to not be a brainwashed camel like some other Mormons. I strive to be a free spirit free of any preconceived doctrines and dogmas. Nietzsche never did encounter Mormonism in his life time. But since Mormonism is such a unique branch of Christianity I think he would have gotten a real kick out of meeting a Mormon. If you want a more in depth analysis of what I think Nietzsche might have thought of Joseph smith and Mormonism then I would invite you to check out this video here ua-cam.com/video/KyTKIuN0eec/v-deo.htmlsi=bz6jNl8IdWBRbXgU
@@ThisSaintsTheory I watched the video - I admire the work you put into it, and it does a good job drawing what might be seen as common themes. N. is a funny one in that he is both bigger and smaller than "themes", or even a coherent philosophy. He spent a decade sifting through what papyrus scraps we have left by the presocratics and internalized their fragmentary nature- he found that the spaces between the extant material and the splicing of pieces that were never meant to be together are excellent tools for thinking. I need to read his essay on "why I write such good books" again, but I will be the first to say he writes excellent exclamatory sentences and meaningful aphorisms. But here is the thing - in so far as there is a consistant theme in his work, it is an overcoming of our tendency to sublimate our self to the group. It is an uprooting of the camels hump of societal concern behind us to reach a clear view of the human in which we stand, leaving room for something better moving forward. The first thing he did was peel off his german citizenship, becoming intentionally stateless at a time the European countries were formalizing their borders and everyone else was getting an official national ID (leading to ww1). You can say N. And Smith are similar in that their projects made them outliers. But I am 100% sure nietzsche would say replacing Catholicism or germanism with mormonism is the work of last men rearranging deckchairs on the ship of the spirit of our possibility. I think it would be better to be a Mormon than a nietzsche. He was miserable and nothing in his own life like what he wrote. He was probably writing wild fiction by the wrong subject title. But if whatever he says means something to you, it means the idea of mormonism and everything it stands for must die in order for you to live. You must accept the view that Smith was just another bootlegging swindler, as Nietzsche was a droopy and loveless hypochondriac, and that the idea these people were anything better than that is the hope you have of being something better yourself.
I’m 18 and I stopped believing in the church at around 14. I was atheist for a couple years and now am agnostic. But I never believed that the Mormon church was a bad institution. I just didn’t believe. I found your video interesting and have been wanting to get into Nietzsche. I think you’re right that people are often willing to pick up a belief immediately after forsaking their previous beliefs. Not giving themselves time to think for themselves.
I’ve got a whole lot more Nietzsche videos where this one came from.
Mormonsism is a cult. It isnt hard to see that. Its right in your face. And its infuriating to see you act like Nietzche had some lovely feelings to mormonism. Nieztche thought religion was a litimitng idea. And it is. There are no new arguments because it is so obviously in front of you. And nieztche goes into this. And PLEASE stop pitying people who are not mormon or christian! It may make you feel good, hut it dosent for everyone! You invalidate feelings and experiences, because YOU focus on the next life. You dont care about your life now besides this fantasy you have. KEEP IT TO YOURSELF. If you love nitezche so much, look into his other books and see that his philosohy is to constabtly lose and find yourself. Your just repeating this but with a religous bias and view. Your not saying anything revolutionary. Please use more logic before saying such crap
Nietzsche didn't have any feelings towards mormonism as he never encountered them during his life time. I just like to think that his philosophy has somethings to say about how we can trap ourselves in cycles of cultish behaviour.
@@ThisSaintsTheory Sure, but you've still added the mormon prejudice and bias.
@@microvaves it’s possible
@@microvaves my end goal of course would to completely free myself of bias and doctrine
There's "nothing new" coming because you know all the arguments, yet you choose to make excuses as to why they're not valid.
I’d be happy to have you tell me more.
Anti Mormons lack the courage and are too lazy to do the work to get to ground truth on the issues. It's so hard, I know, much easier to just give up and be angry. You'll be back, perhaps after you have crossed over, but you'll be back.
You're videos are always great. Let's all become as children
I would be interested if you make video or series of videos on each point of the CES letter your thoughts on each one of them and Any Anti-Mormon writings.
Honestly I feel like the CES letter has been done to death so many times that I wouldn’t be adding anything new
You can find those all over the internet.
Cool location! Ordered the book, excited to read it
Just ordered the book. Loved the video as always!
