It was a whacky and even season, I felt only 5 weeks remaining I was off with my preseason ladder prediction. Fremantle was the third I predicted them 13th and they finished 10th, Brisbane 2/5 I predicted them 3rd and they finished 5th.

Amazing season, no one could have guessed who the premiers were because this season wasn't one sided, every team was vulnerable. Probably one of the hardest seasons to tip. The final rounds were crazy crucial, one win or one loss could make a huge impact on a team's season. The ladder was insanely close and many teams could have won the premiership. Ngl Brisbane Vs Geelong was the REAL grand final, i guess that game decided the premiership.

AFL is NOT a sport. Why do people not understand this fact.

Shame the finals weren’t quite as good as last year but it was a grouse year.

This season was the best in my opinion. For example the reigning premiers Collingwood only bet the 17th team of the season before north Melbourne by only one point. That right there shows how even this season was. Anyone could’ve beaten anyone. The lions also lost to the giants by 60 points then go on to beat the giants in the finals and win the flag.

4:28, yes that looks like a big upset, but at the time it wasn’t that amazing, I mean yea now it looks like a big upset but I feel like that’s only because of Sydney finishing 1st and Richmond 18th at the end of the season.

I’m still hurt about the Swans losing the flag after an incredible year they had. But still, the Lions were just the better team on GF Day. Congrats to the Lions, but I really hope that the Swans can overcome this, again.

Defintely want to see more teams outside the top 4 win a Premiership after the Lions this season, the Dogs back in 2016 and the Crows back in 98 because it means going though a harder path in the Finals to earn it. I'm also comtempt if its any of the top 4 so long as they lose the Qualifying Final and go down the hard road to win it like the 03 Lions, 05 Swans, 06 Eagles or 2015 Hawks
