@@abomb242 I'll try lol I think for a few reasons...just like you mentioned, the head sculpt and overall aesthetic of the figure is very well done, especially for a female marvel legend figure, a larger female marvel legend body at that. The muscular definition is executed well. I do agree with you that the articulation could be better, especially within the abdominal and diaphragm area. It could really make the figure more dynamic. Despite those flaws, I was still able to get pretty decent poses, and get the playability factor going. And the body is basic af lol I won't lie, but for what the costume design is, it works 🤣 All these top 10s are people personal favorites in the end lol 🤷‍♂️

@@ronanmenezes5639 I used a small exacto knife and cut the cape where it's attached behind his gold necklace.

@@jjonahjameson8839 I haven't tried it yet so I'm not 100% sure. If you soak it in Boling water that has been set for a minute or two, you could probably pop it off with more ease.

@packedinactionfigurereviews how did you move the head around for the different poses that you had it at on the video and you pop the arms off then? Is that what you did?

@@jjonahjameson8839 I see what you mean... I had to push his arms all the way down. If you play around with them, they kinda have a drop down feature to where his shoulders will have a very low slope. From there I use some force to turn his head, but I tug on it from his hair so it passes his shoulders. BE WARNED, that I did find that it loosens the head a bit. Not by much, but you will feel it loosen. Hope that helps.

Nice review. I do have a suggestion and your perfectly free not to listen. Concerning Ryu’s name. It really should be pronounced Ree-you. The Righ-you pronunciation was just a mistake us westerners did since Street Fighter 1 because we really did not know how to say his name back then. Plus the live action SF movie with Van Damme mispronounced the name and further fanned the mistake to the public. The reason I say this? I actually had a Japanese coworker who had the same name of Ryu. I asked him if people say his name as Righ-you sometimes, and he said he gets it alot and blames Street Fighter. Lol. He also said, as far as he knows, there is no Japanese pronunciation of his name as Righ-you. He said saying his name as Righ-you is the equivalent as if a person had the name of Michael and people would pronounce the name as Michelle. Technically you can but it would be incorrect for most of the time.

@lastsunofkrypton7950 I really appreciate the insight. That makes sense, considering the origins of the creators if the game and where they're from. I got so used to calling him Righ-you, so when I heard the Ree-you prounounciation it was always weird lol But thanks for the insight, and for checking out the review!

The funny thing is Ryu and Ken were actually both telling the public how to say Ryu’s name way back in the SF2 arcade when they would do the Dragon Punch uppercut . Sho(rising) Ryu(dragon) Ken(punch). But to be fair the sound bite for Shoryuken was actually horrible back then and most people thought they were saying “All You Can!!” I also remember people pronouncing Guile’s name as “Gully” and Sagat as “Say-Gut”. Lol. Good times. Looking forward to when you review wave 3.

@@erictoro6519 A great figure indeed! I was happy to have found it at my local Target. it was the last one on the peg so you could imagine my excitement. I was very pleased with the articulation, considering the plastic hoodie/sweater. i Do wish they woulda given us an alternative head with the hoodie pulled over his head, but those are minor complaints. @@Tony-l6d1o Glad you reconsidered on getting him. Hasbro unfortunately cheapned out on him this release, but with the metallic gold paint and a wired cape makes a hell of a difference. i dont blame you lol it wasnt until i started watching spectacular spiderman where i learn more about him, peaking my interest in the character.

He's a lower tier spiderman villain that runs all the crime activities in Harlem. His real name is L Thompson Lincoln and he's an albino African American man. However unlike kingpin, he actually has powers from an experimental gas he accidentally inhaled in a prison that gave him unbreakable skin and enhanced strength. He also filed his teeth to be extremely sharp. He's slowly risen in popularity recently and been a very dangerous crime lord for the street level heroes. He used to be a two bit thug in his early days with a severe grudge against Robbie Robertson for reporting on his crimes, but comic writers made him slowly work up the ranks of the crime underworld throughout the comics and he became the biggest crime lord in Harlem. He even forgave Robbie and canceled all his debts and stopped hunting him. He's one of the few spidey villains to have actual character development that never got backtracked. Really well written character

@@99Vood99 Youre right lol Kingpin has been drawn multiple sizes varying from big, to really big, to humongous lol in "into the spider verse" he was drawn wide and broad lol.. the way i see it, he's Human and apart of peak human stregnth and speed, he doesnt have powers so i guess that'll justify my rational for his size lol I wouldve love to see Marvel Select take a crack at him as they genreally make better bigger characters. you'd for sure get that extra height from them. And to answer your question, (funny you ask) i do collect other brands and lines such as jada toys and mcfarlane as well as a few mafex figures. My next review will actually be from jada toys. There were definetley more accessories that couldve been added to other figures, but i had to work with what i had at the moment lol Ive seen seen some promo pics for Death head, but i never got a chance to grab him yet. Before the year ends, i'll probably release an updated top 10 as some figures still arent out yet. @@packedinactionreviews I agree that Danny was a little short, but that seemed to be it's only shortfall. I just received the Warlord - Professor X figure from Uncanny X-Men 275. I think it is a brilliant rendition of the Professor X / Skrull from the comic interior artwork. The colour of the cape was different on the cover. As far as the back drop, its custom made. i did base it off of the marvel select danger room pieces that came with the figures when i got them. I used a standard cardboard box for the base. The box's sides have to be around the same dimensions....Think of a cube. I then removed the top of the box and removed 2 sides of the box so that it forms a 90degree angle. i then cut out 3 large pieces of gray construction paper. One piece for the floor and the other two for the walls. i also used light blue, metallic and white grid construction paper for the smaller panels on the wall I drew tic tac toe lines for the bigger paneling of the wall, and floors. and outlined thesmaller panel pieces with a black sharpie to fill in the line work. i lightly tape the construction paper to the box, so that eay i can interchange my backdrop if need be. Hope this helps. i might drop a video on how to do it.
