So when you compare the 3 wolverines, what is funny is I just ordered the Heated Claws Wolverine a few days ago. The thing I like about the 97 version is the mask off accessory. But the Heated Claws version I love the spacing of the claws (My figure has not arrived yet). But the Uncanny Wovlerine (which is not displayed here) I think has the best face. Tough choices if you are only going to own one.
i agree 100% I feel as if the uncanny Wolverine has the best unmasked comic head sculpt. the 97 version comes pretty close. As far as the claws, the heated wolverines claws are pretty sturdy compared to all my other figures. I find that the claws on my other wopverines can be sorta flimsy and can be easily warped if not careful. Good observation.
@@packedinactionfigurereviews Indeed. I am new to collecting just a handful of figures so when you are not trying to buy everyone, these small factors come into play on deciding which ones you want. I caved in and grabbed the Uncanny Wolverine last night because it was a good price and I did not want it to creep to over $20. I really do love that the 97 Wolverine comes with the best accessories though or I should say the normal standard accessories you want to have. Mask and no mask, claws and no claws fist. But that mask off accessory I love so so much. Classic (from the cartoon) him walking around with the mask off and hanging like a hoodie.
Lol this figure has been out for months and at this point everyone should know just the torso is the same, all other parts are new so articulation is definitely different. Every other reviewer agrees this is easily the best wolverine to date
I feel as if the articulation could be improved, by simply adding a diaphram swivel along with the ab crunch (like the reteo spidey) to give him more posability giving him more range moving side to side as opposed to the ab crunch which could only make him bend forward and back. In my oppion, the Love Traingle Wolverine still #1 but that just my oppinion lol
The figure as a whole looks the same as the previous Tiger Stripe Wolvie, despite these "new parts". The articulation is barely any different, the only thing noticeably different is the crotch piece and the pinless, which I just don't give a damn about. Literally the range of movement is the same as all the past Wolverine. Plus, this wolverine doesn't even have an angry head, he looks bored AF!
@@ryantheanimator1156 well yeah it looks similar it's an iconic outfit lmao. It's supposed to look like that. literally everytime a figure is announced now, if it has pins, people immediately bitch and when they're pinless no one mentions it, just bitchs about something else. Pinless does more than look good it makes the figure feel more stable. I have many wolverine figs amd this new one feels the smoothest with the articulation and sturdiest. They also fully maximized his butterfly joints as with previous ones they were stunted by some design flaw and didn't get full range. His masked head isn't boring, he looks focused in a battle. Also in the opening sequence to xmen he literally has that exact face.
