Cool idea 💡 If you add some length to the stove pipe, even extend it down on the inside will add performance because of extra air flow.
i tell you what at 23:51 i couldnt belive it guy changed tree stump into dog
Yeah, my little helper is making sure I did it right
Dawn and a garden hose finally eliminated my vole population in my citrus orchard. Everything else failed, flooding, poison, traps. I don't know if it killed them off or what, but never had another now in 20 years.
I think voles typically eat vegetation like grass, roots or seeds. Perhaps the fragrance or taste of the soap encouraged them to move out and establish elsewhere. Just a guess. Thanks for watching
Awesome video bro!
Appreciate it!
I have a pool%client that just today, her entire pool has a blanket of leaves at the bottom. It's 45 foot pool. I hand net 1 green trash dumpster. Do you think this setup can help me suck those leaves but yet return the water to the pool without wasting?
Probably not. I tried to vacuum leaves as you describe in this video: ua-cam.com/video/8tP0OxlOB4U/v-deo.html Once you get it mostly clean, this one shows how well it can do. ua-cam.com/video/fUf_GK1Y1Sk/v-deo.html I suspect though, a full blanket of leaves would fill the filter very quickly.
I hate guys like you. You don't know what you are doing, and you are going to show us how to do it.
Your stump was live by the live branches around the stump. After cutting the tree, spread epsom salt on and around the stump to kill it. Prefer cross cut with saw. Score the visible roots too. When you build the fire build it around the stump and roots. It will all burn away. I have had roots that burned below ground for days if not a week after the main fire was out.
Yeah this one definitely still green. I've not had one burn the roots very well because of that. The saw removes material so much faster than the drill bit. I probably won't bother with the bit on the next one.
Way too messy for me!!
It did make a mess. Probably not idea for a freshly landscaped yard.
I've got a 2019 F150 and the factory inverter has been less than impressive. My laptop has a 240w power supply and the inverter can't provide enough power. In my other vehicles i have wired a 6 AWG to the battery and use a cheqpo Walmart 400w inverter without any issues. Pretty disappointing im going to have to replace this with something different. Prerty ridiculous there is less power while driving. I agree doesnt make much sense. The alternator obviously puts out more power above idle.
At this point, I'll assume they put that language in the manual to give themselves some wiggle room if they needed to reduce the inverter output in the future. I only use the onboard inverter for a small space heater my wife uses when the temperature dips below a chilly 70F. Other than that there is not much use for it.
I'd like to see if I can find a wiring diagram for the unit and just replace it with a real 400w unit. I'm not opposed to running a direct wire to the battery and using a relay if needed. I haven't looked at all, as I was just hoping this thing would work ok when I bought the truck last month. I'm actually surprised it runs any kind of heater.
It is a 250w personal heater but it is mostly a resistive load that inverters prefer. Things like motors and transformers are inductive loads that result in a lower max power that can be obtained from the inverter. Look up "power factor inductive loads" if you're interested in that type of info.
it really ain that hard eliminating 10 wasps lol
Not really, would like to have had a bigger nest but I've run out of them for some reason
Would have been easier to cut the concrete and repour that small section.
The wife would have complained about how it looked every time she drove by it.
@@LivingCommonSense Happy wife, happy life,
Chlorinated brake clean works 1000 times faster and doesn’t leave a mess!
Yeah, turns out a lot of things will kill wasps and its mainly figuring out how to minimize the collateral damage behind the nest. Some plastics can be damaged by break clean but is no problem on wood or metals. Just choose the best tool for the job
Tried a 3000 Honda generator/ inverter on a refrigerator and it would not run the compressor. Does size and length of the extension cord affect the power quality and output? Used a 100 foot -2 awg cord
@brucewestergaard - The size and length of the cord will affect the output but only some voltage drop over long distance. First up, you say you have a 2-awg cord but probably meant 12 awg? Two awg is huge but 12 awg is plenty for a refer/compressor. I'd need more information to determine the issue like does the inverter trip out because overload or the engine bogs down too much with the compressor kicks off? Does the refer detect low voltage over the extension cord and shut down? Any other loads plugged into the inverter? Just some more info about the setup.
And your toolbox is nice & shiny.
In a perfect world it would be.It needs a good pressure wash on the outside now.
I always liked the V O 5 Hairspray and a "Bic" lighter method. Just have the garden hose nearby in case ya start the shed on fire,,,,,,,,,,, hep'd me !!! This looks a tad bit safer, and I'll keep in mind. Last I used was spray Brake Cleaner. INSTANT Success !!!!!
Yeah, turns out a lot of things will kill wasps and its mainly figuring out how to minimize the collateral damage behind the nest.
I stopped fighting the battle with brain dead engineers, I own both ford and Toyota, I bypassed both systems and put in dedicated pure sign inverters with 250amp alternators with the proper sized wiring and fuses. On the stock 400w inverters I use an adjustable rectifier to change the square sign inverter to 48v dc for charging my echoflow 1800w power station thru the solar ports.
Well that's an interesting implementation for charging a power station. I would not have thought of that. I guess it has a voltage regulator set at 48v and I assume the echoflow handles the charge rate based on charge level of the battery. I am surprised the power station didn't pull more than the inverter can produce. That a cool hack. Thanks for watching.
great video, it made it so easy for me to change mine. What a horrible place to put the battery.
Thanks. I suppose they made it more difficult so folks would take it to the dealer
how to make it more difficult
Just trying to use the equipment I already have on hand.
Great video. You have showed me exactly what I need to do. Thanks for sharing.
You're welcome!
Can i charge a laptop with this?
Yes, as long as it's power requirements didn't exceed the capacity of the inverter or power source.
Checker board effect with chain saw is way better than drilling holes!!
Yes, absolutely. I prefer plunge cuts with the chain saw over the drill bits. Still some people either don't have or want to use a chainsaw so drilling may be their only option.
I fixed my DWE7484 flatness issues with a 1/8 inch MDF Melanine overlay. You just have to raise the fence by 1/8 inch to compensate.
Does the fence still clamp down firmly?
@@LivingCommonSense Yes, the fence still clamps down firmly but without side levers. You have to engage the clips manually. I have a video on my woodworking channel.
You have a nice setup there.
Use a 45 gallon drum
I used a drum on another. It works well but only drawback is it seems to use more wood
do you have a video on how to link this up to your house? and what connector used? thanks in advance!

What is the concentration of Dawn?
I pour the dawn in straight from the soap bottle and turn the soap setting on the wand to max…hit them with the most soap as possible. The soap is diluted as it is used and replaced with water but it still effective as long as you can see the slight tint of blue soap in the mixture. This is all done by the wand.
Fat wood?? Dig it up, split it up, use for fire starting and SELL it😂 if thats good sticky wood that's MONEY brother😂
I was expecting this comment to come through eventually. I don’t know how much I could’ve sold the fat wood for but I’ll say the video of it pays pretty well too
You should clean your yard up pig pan
I assume there is a good reason to not do this at night, when they’re inactive
The lighting is better for the camera during the day
For shits and giggles I sprayed DEET ( brand name OFF) on a baseball size wasp nest that was covered in the wasps. They immediately flew away and none came back.
Sounds like you may have at least hurt their feelings
That’s right get them to swarm that was stupid
ssaqassqqssaaaasss
This is a well made video. It was exactly what i was looking for
Thanks for watching
Just dawn dish soap n water works! The surfactant gets them
Yeah, Dawn dish soap means a bad day for them
Thanks!! This was very helpful
You are welcome. Glad it helped
Titan customer service sucks
I've never called them...I figured these forks were simple enough that it would be hard to mess them up,
Thanks this helped. Cleaning deck and was dodging wasps left and right couldn’t be more pleased seeing this.
You're welcome! They seem to like building around us all the time
They may be dead, but they're clean.
They were cleaned out for sure!
I heard that wasps love sugary drinks and that you use borox acid mixed with that to take them all out wherever they nest* very cheaply(maybe less than $5, but definitely less than $10)... *Even if it's hidden and you cannot get to it directly. Often this is the case. We have them currently in a way that you cannot access them directly and we have 1 or more sitting at the entrance to where the nest is to guard it until after dark(after dark, they go in). The strangest thing about these mahogany wasps(we call them red wasps) is they are not nearly as aggressive as yellow jackets are. They are aggressive and will sting(they'd be intolerable if they were nesting in a livable part of your house), but we've lived next to them for some time and being vigilantly careful means that you don't get stung. But, it would be great to not deal with them at all and I think I will try the sugary drink plus borox mix for this deep nest. I also know that getting certain sticky fluids in their wings means they cannot fly and makes them easy to kjII(esp. if you find one lit on a surface within your spray's target range)...
Sounds like you have a workable plan to take care of those pests
Dawn kills wasps? 🤔
The soap breaks down the waxy protective coating on the wasp's body, which causes the insect to suffocate. Wasps breathe through tiny openings on their body, and when these are coated with soapy water, they can no longer breathe.
I just used this!! After dusk. No stings- and nothing flying after soaking for several minutes. ❤❤ thank you!!
You are welcome. I’m glad you were able to get rid of the pests and thank you for sharing
@@LivingCommonSense me too.
Oh, I used a car wash gun
Hosed
I’ve tried chemical spray. Didn’t kill then. Tried pouring tons of mulch, the boy right through it. Gonna try this tonight. Thanks!!
It works for sure...be careful
Starting fluid works much better.
Yeah, it seems lots of things kill them, some faster than others.
They loove building their nests in the wrong dam spot lol
That they do!
where you get that sprayer

first thing you've gotta do is clean up that f*cking yard
Yeah, that's the one constant around here
