Hey Matt, just tried this Tyranid list in a pickup game this past weekend and it was awesome. Question for you though, I only have 2 exocrine so what I did was drop all the enhancements and that’s gave me enough points to fit in a rupture cannon tyrannofex. Would that be your change if you only had 2 exocrines available? Maleceptor instead maybe? If you can let me know what you think, that would be great! Congrats on the tournament!

I played Invasion Fleet the last few weeks and lost 2 of my 3 games. So I wanted to just try and go all in with a new list including 3 Norns, just to see how it would go. Now I'm discovering your channel and this awesome tournament report! Thanks a lot, it is really interesting. Congrats for the performance 🔥. I'm also wondering what 3 Maleceptors would do here, giving this -1 to hit for each Norn haha. Or maybe a Tyrannofex helping with some anti-tank 🤔

Thanks a lot for the battle reports! This is such quality information...out of curiosity, what would you change about that list? If anything at all...! Did you like how The Swarmlord performed? What about the Parasite of Mortrex?

Thank you for the video, very interesting. I saw you chose engage all front and cleanse. I am just curious because I play fixed too : would you take behind the enemy line instead of cleanse to save some shooting ? I like to save 50 points for 2 swarms to have the behind the enemy line option options.

How is the Parasite getting to -3 LD? Dirgeheart to -1, SotW with Neurotyrant for -2, but where does the third one come from?

So where are you with this detachment today, had any games? Any changes to your template list? I'm looking to get on the horse and learn to play Vanguard, but having doubts about Mawlocs. Also would love to use a Winged Hive Tyrant but I don't know how really, he would be picked off easily with the stupid wings and I wouldn't have enough CP to Unseen Lurk him every turn.

With the parasitic biomophology, does that +1 strength stack to +2 strength with the new synapse rules? Oh. Just got to that part of the vid.

Where is the line of sight to the base rule located?

I like the insights. I think theres plenty of meat on the bone for swarms. I have run a broodlord with 10 stealers and the 6" pile in/consolidate upgrade to GREAT success. Currently want to try walkrant and terv with 2x20 gants with spine fists for the lethal/sustained 5+ crits strat.

Winged prime and trygon looks like a great call! Found this crusher list online from one of the tourneys OoE+1 carnifex Swarmlord+3 tyrand guard 20 horms 5 barbgaunts 2 exos 1 mawloc 1 norn emmisary 1 screamer killer 2 rupture tyrannofexes

Lictors and horms are also great here for cheap action monkeys and flipping primary, aswell as the screamer killer for enabling the nades more!

I'm guessing multiple Flyrants becomes a bit of diminishing returns, and that they are too flimsy when exposed (and the ambiguous LOS wordings). Still expensive in points for what they bring. I'd love to be proven wrong and would be great to see them used in a battle report! But I think we probably still need to be able to survive on the middle objectives to get the game winning points, either through resilience or redundancy. I saw a guy that has a 7-1 record with this (no idea of the quality of opponents): -1 Winged Prime (because you need a character) and he gives synaps to Trygon to have S10 -3 Maleceptors -3 Haruspex -3 Exocrine -3 Screamer Killer -1 Trygon for mission and scoring in enemy DZ -1 Pyrovore to hold the home objective Put Maleceptors with Haruspexes and Screamer Killers everywhere, many opponents can't deal with it. And while damage output is still shit, enough of it can work. Overwhelm them with all good to okayish datasheets we have for the cost now.

With that many lictors, do you need the swarmlord for CP generation?
