Boondockin the Snowy Mountains 2024
Just us ripping around on the snowys, had to shut it down for a day because of the blizzard but the last was hands down the best day ive ever had on a sled. The only issue is us midwesterners are used to pretty high intake pressure and when you put us on the mountains at 12kfeet, turns out theres not much air for breathing. again. all these off trail videos are just for me when i get old and cant do this anymore.

Replacing the clutch and chain on a mini bike

First time I see it is the first time you see it. Its a little rough around the edges but we got through it all right. It was a Monster Moto mini 80 and just your average Amazon special clutch. but also on a side note once finished up filming I found the new master link. Lesson is, dont be a slob like me.
A Guy With A RZR: How to build DIY Rock slides, tree kickers, nerf bars or whatever you call them

3 hours fab time and another hour of paint with $50 worth of steel and I made a pair or near indestructible rock slides. I built a very similar set on mine a few years ago and they only have on dent in them from a very aggressive slam. 1.75" Electro welded .180 wall and a few pieces of scrap angle. Just get out in the garage and build something.

The half inch impact has been through a lot and it gave the 3 blinking light of doom a few times but a good whack on the bench seems to have fixed it, right up until it hasn't. I went though all the common mentioned fixes and none of them seemed to work until the 10 minute mark in the video if you want to skip over it all and get back to work.

Well everyone asking about part 2 really got me in the mood to dig and figured that I could keep going at it. Ive made some rather large progress in 20 days. Between the stamped frame and the 50lb of wires , This one is going to be the hardest bike to pull off yet. I believe I have the rear figured out in my head but i am still open to suggestions on the front half. It will be a 2 up bike and a moderate bud...

    You could raise the house with lots of hydraulic jacks and lots of tele-post jacks you are currently using. You wont need to dig so deep and have a new perimeter foundation wall to set house on. By the way, what is high water line of creek behind this house?

Just wondering if I was crazy but it looks like we're all kind of like minded DIYer's who don't have the money for a company to do it for us. My problem is neighbors, building inspectors and permits. Instead of the axle coming out of the diff, something popped loose inside the diff-end boot. So pulling now just stretches that boot, feels no longer attached to the axle it seems. Didn’t do this when I bought it. It’s 2015 570 SP. and when I lift up with Jack and hit throttle nothing. So it’s while under a load. I did see a guys video where belt fixed the issue cause it was very fast slipping and sticking causing chatter in rear diff. Any thoughts?

    • @backwoodscustoms
      @backwoodscustoms 3 місяці тому

      @@RickTrask-lt2xv yeah, any time I've had clicking in the rear when you turn, it has been a cv axle going out. The rear end is always lock in dif lock, so both tires are trying to turn the same speed. When you turn it puts huge stress on the cv axles, when the cv axles are worn you will get the click and pops of the balls in there snapping in and out of the worn housing. If you lift up the rear end you will not have any clicks because there's no stress on the cv axles.

    Cannot believe you are using that gigantic jackhammer. Same power in a little Bosch

      French drains are big holes filled with big rock then covered up with fabric then some small rock so it looks nice, at least that's the farmer version. I'm just on the dig a hole stage.

      I know lol I was pretty confused when I first got into it. I was trying to figure out how a fire place under ground would work. But according to Grandpa it's a sistern for storing rain water in the summer for the winter in case the well froze or failed for some reason.

    I found your story from seeing a short about an HCAV guy talking about a homeowner having foam padding and lights in his crawl space. Then I saw '@diycrawlspacedigoutunderpi4201' Lee Anderson digging out his crawl space. Here in the UK, we have Colin Furze, who made a bunker and has been digging a tunnel under his home.
