How to fix Milwaukee 1/2" impact Light Blinking 3 times.

The half inch impact has been through a lot and it gave the 3 blinking light of doom a few times but a good whack on the bench seems to have fixed it, right up until it hasn't. I went though all the common mentioned fixes and none of them seemed to work until the 10 minute mark in the video if you want to skip over it all and get back to work.

The 4th time I thought I fixed it and didn't, it just about got the bigger hammer treatment.
