As a Thai person, the hippies like those two who you talked to who act like how respectful they are and how they know the right way of living, and shunned other tourist for not covering enough or not respectful enough because they didn't follow their way is the kind of tourist I despised the most. they act like they're speaking for Thai people when really, they just speak for themselves. they're very arrogance and self-righteous weirdos. so high and mighty!

Pai is on my list for a long time. I was very close 2 years ago, in Chiang Mai and instead of going there I took flight to Bangkok and directly to Pattaya. That's was huge mistake
