Thank you for watching my vids! And yes, I understand that security is there for a reason. Although everyone has been helpful and friendly, also when no security is around :)
security system in San Fran are soooo expensive.. and so opposite in Philippines🤣🤣 life insurance, health insurance of security guard are almost non existent in philippines security guard.
@JassonQuill It is an automatic deduction of government health insurance in the Philippines 🇵🇭, it is called Philhealth. Whatever happens to security guards they will pay for that. Let us admit that America needs armed security guards to secure the lives of the people.
Taxi is Cheaper than grab. But grab quality drivers and vehicles are better if that matters to you. Plus the right track and they cannot screw you over for more money.
4:58 regarding the pills ad inside the train, in the Philippines, when you say pills, the automatic thought would be birth control pill, I know it's weird but it's an example of filipinoism, we use certain english words with a different meaning but almost related. Another example would be "napkin", when filipino say napkin, automatically it means to us as the womens period pads, another ex is "commute", when we say commute, it automatically translate to "public transportation". There is more.. hehehe Hope that helps.
Sir I’m a new subscriber watching from Honolulu Hawaii, I just wonder i I’m Filipino every time I talk to any body or someone ask me questions I always say SIR OR MAAM. Just like your are not in my MOTHER LAND I never hear sir to everyone you ask? NAWALA NA BA ANG PAG GALANG NG PINOY? Wag naman sana? Not even a security guard.VERY SAD , SIR THANK YOU FOR VISITING MY COUNTRY PHILIPPINES MULA SA AKING PUSO MARAMING MARAMING SALAMAT PO SIR MABUHAY PO MAYO……..ITS MORE FUN IN THE PHILIPPINES 🇵🇭
Metro Manila is only part of the Philippines, explore the Visayas region the island hopping of the country, Panay, Negros, Cebu, Leyte, Samar, Bohol less stressful and a relaxing adventures
Security guards there usually help people in general not just tourists, for direction. They asked you those questions because you are a tourist and seem like you needed help going somewhere.
We started having security everywhere after 9/11 inspired some local terrorists back then. They long gone now, but still nice to have security everywhere. Most times they're just trying to be helpful
Securities are meant to generate jobs. Otherwise, the country n people are peace- loving in general. Very rare a major crime happens in Metro Manila😅. Petty crimes do occur in random day in crowded places like cellphone snatching.
What I remember about Manila was the kidnapping and botched rescue of HKG tourists by the local police. Other than that, I know of the touts and extortion of arriving passengers at Manila airport which really put me off from ever visiting the Philippines.
@@qAr1a NAIA is literally the only Philippine airport I know that does that. Sadly It’s in the capital and almost all international flights go there first before going through the rest of the country. I suggest you try to get flights that can connect you to Mactan International Airport in Cebu instead or even Clark International airport. Kinda pricy but a much better experience. Manila is overrated and sadly the first city foreigners see. There is good spots but overall I think Cebu offers more.
You're wrong gringo MOA (Mall of Asia) is still the largest Mall with the addition of the largest IKEA in the world!!! it has a skating rink and football field!!!
It's so funny that the students riding the MRT have no idea where MoA is. That is complete bull, I think they are either shy or conscious about being on camera; they'd rather say they don't know than give you directions - oh, maybe they can't respond to you in English, which is a big shame because students in the Philippines are supposed to speak in English. And please don't mind the 'raw footage', I find your videos to be good.
They are all smiling in jeepney.😍
last year pa ako nakapunta sa MOA and Im sure marami ng pagbabago dyan siguro..Salamat Tony for this video..Keep on posting like this.🥰

I wish we had security like this in San Francisco. We literally have zero, it’s dangerous and sad 😢
I have been putting that comment in any state in the USA that the USA needs security guards with guns like in the Philippines.

It is better to take bus carousel than jeepney gong to MOA.

Mall of Dubai is the biggest. MOA is still unfinish
It's not the biggest mall in Asia. The largest in Asia are in Iran and Thailand.

Nah most are just shy or feel like they have a “nosebleed” whenever they hear an fluent English speaker
Probably just shy.
The choppy editing is really annoying!
Dont like the editing. Raw flow filming is more natural to me, at least.
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I think so too tbh haha.
