I have the older version..still going strong 15 years of use...its bombproof..needed in Scotland..really really fancy one of these..back pocket bit weird but hey ho...best start saving!!

I have a Barbour Coll parka, weighs a ton, but man is it warm.
Great video mate! Having watched all your videos I’ve bought not one but TWO Barbours. First a brand new classic Bedale in olive. And I happened to come across a second hand Barbour X Tokito Beacon bicycle jacket with little wear. Managed to some how nab it on EBay for $50. I’m addicted!

Just bought my second as well (the first disintegrated after I tried deodorizing it using a vinegar mix - the smell did improve…)
For the sake of sizing, what are your measurements, mate? I think the Large would be right for me as well, but hard to gauge on someone else sometimes.
Beefed up a bit now and this has since been sold but I think I was 21/22” across the chest.
This model will be revived in AW2024.

nice looking jacket, don't understand the pocket at the back to be honest, and its a size too small for you, you need a large, this is not really a fitted jacket, its built for winter where you are going to be wearing layers imho.
Neither do I, the back pocket is pointless. Though I’d never wear this in the cold winter with layers (I have my Longhurst and Northumbria jackets for that), it’s more of a lifestyle piece so I don’t mind the trim-ness
@@WaxandTartans thx for the reply, love the channel btw, Barbour is probably my preferred brand when talking jackets and outerwear, I do think they have gone a little lifestyle with their pieces of late, but I guess like all brands they have to diversify to stay afloat! good to see they still have all their stalwart pieces still in the lineup though ;-)
@@sevrin1965 absolutely. Though, as I tell everyone, buy what you want and don’t worry about the lifestyle bits. I mainly focus on the vintage, collaborations and traditional country pieces.
Trust me, you don’t need layers with this jacket. Super warm
