Hi Dave, on a recent trip to the Southern Highlands, they were almost deafening, there are so many around my way this year. Yeah it would be good to see it back in 125 year Livery, the green did get almost faded to grey it later years. Hope you had a great Christmas Dave.

Dave, they're incredibly loud. Two different varieties out at the same time apparently, first time in 100 years or something similar.

You are correct, there are some interesting characters for sure. I didn't actually make the connection as to why the brake would have been applied so this is a bit of a revelation, so thank you for commenting and watching.

@@trainspottingwithbarrie Apparently there were witnesses who saw a couple of these people recording the engine sounds laboring from the same carriage that the handbrakes were tampered with. Such a shame mobile phones were not really about back then, and would have not had video capability anyway. It would have been good to video these clowns who think they can do what they like.
