Thanks Dave. We waited in line for what seemed like an eternity, but my little guy loved it. Thanks for commenting, the algorithm doesn't like these transport expo videos. I guess there are a heap of them.
I was gonna go inside there but there was way too much people This video is one of my favourites! Thanks for uploading this excellent video Also the cab is beautiful
Those things may be quiet on the inside, but I spent three weeks camped in the sports grounds at Nana Glen, and I can tell you that they sound like a jumbo jet taking off from the outside...😁
There sure were, obviously some info from PacNat or NatRail was over exaggerated for the public, I should have picked up on that as the 48 were one of my favorite locos. Thanks for the great pick up.
Looking inside this train was something else, I was taken aback by the stove and cupholder and I definitely wasn't expecting it😂
Hello
@@MrAnsairDude hii
It really was a surprise to me as well, although I remember the 73s having a stove element as well. Thanks for watching
@ a stove ??
Whaat
Train drivers are humans that require food and drink to be alive
Nice little tour there Barrie. The NR's are starting to show their age with cab rust and in traffic failures. They have served their two owners well.

Hi Mransairdude, yeah this was the second time I lined up. The first time I gave up as it was too long. This que was still 40 min. Thanks for watching
No problem Barrie!

Especially when they are in a group, you can hear them groaning from a mile away. Thanks for watching
🍺THANKS BARRIE.
Thank you Robert.👍
I assume the restroom was through the door 2:34 what else was through there?
Hi David, that's correct. The toilet generator room and electrical cabinets. No public access on that day unfortunately. Thanks for watching
Weren't there 165 of the 48 class?
Yes in 4 stages

Correct me if I’m wrong but wouldn’t the purchase of 165 48 class be the largest purchase over the NR class in Australia’s history?
Your correct. From my understanding the 48 were made over 4 orders and the NRs over 2 so in total yes you are correct
@ thanks, wasn’t trying to be a smart arse but I was just curious!
They come with cup holders!!!!!
And a stove and kettle. Lol.
