this is when you dont want shocks with oil... the front end bounces like crazy, oil in the shocks would make it so much more stable

How do you get the tank to recoil both ways. Like when you fires backwards, it moves forward, and fireing at front, it boves backwards.

Can they handle brushless power.? I've heard the gearboxes don't last long. I've almost bought one so many times but I always get scared off by the supposed durability issues.. Nice mod. Just looking at the amount of work it was to remove all the water, maybe next time use compressed air to remove most of the dirt, and prevent water from getting everywhere, including the gear box?

Like other viewers, I usually prefer to see shock towers on a buggy like this, but this sleek look does have its merits as well. As someone menrioned, it can't make the handling any worse, as the Grasshopper is a bouncy car anyway, unless fitting better (real) shocks. Just wondering how the suspension arms will hold up, as these are now used in a different way from the original design

The noise comes from the faulty spur, which is a known issue. The stock spur is molded bad from the factory. I replaced the spur from the start with LOSI one and it is the most quite vehicle!

How does the car handle overall afterwards? I thought that looked way too bouncy to work on a hornet but it looks like you're running a 540 motor instead of the stock 380.

Excellent job on putting you're own personal touch on that grasshopper. Came out good I like it . I always wondered what it would look like without the bumper and I like it great looking buggy for sure.

It was a car that I really liked because of its State-of-the-art design at the time. But... Durability is too weak I think it would be good to create and apply improved parts that complement durability, especially the knuckle arm. shock absorber stay Also, the gearbox needs to be waterproof and dustproof, and a body undercover is also needed.

The biggest drawback of this car is that the suspension and chassis are very weak against shocks. In particular, the metal knuckle arms look sturdy, but they break often.
