Evening mate. Thank you so much for reaching out. It was filmed back in the summer but had a horrendous Q2 and Q3 of 2024 lots of health and obstacles in the way. We had several new videos filmed but with the garden probably need to re record it tbh 😂😂 it will be in the new year for sure. I know that’s not an exact date it all depends on work and finances. Again appreciate you reaching out hope you had a good Christmas and a good new year 👍

Hey hey sorry for the late reply. Hope you had a good Christmas. Thanks for that we love it for sure. Yeah we’ve answered similar questions before. We were told to leave it 12 months. But the sales agent said it’s not recommended but I’m not saying you can’t. Also we were like you’ve decorated your showhome. We’ve had no issues with settling or movement affecting the decorating 😁😁

I know they go in and do touch ups, we thought how bad could it be and been fine. A lot of neighbours put TVs in the walls (which we didn’t trust that one tbf) awww that’s very kind I do hope so and I hope you have a good 2025. Honestly 2024 was an awful year had some very big obstacles, hence why no uploads for a while. We’ve had several videos filmed and just waiting to be edited and processed. The new year will hopefully provide time and a better opportunity to allow us to go back to it. ❤️

I did wonder what happened to the garden. I will be doing a new vlog next year about my new move, if it happens, and doing it up etc the biggest obstacles will be the garden. I have huge plans but not a single garden bone in my body 😅 I will keep an eye out for updates on your channel. Take it easy xx

Evening, sorry haven’t replied. Yeah we’re always really prepared for Christmas. Started buying gifts in Oct. Tree was up second weekend in November. (Although the mrs wanted more lights 😂) last few food bits to get for Christmas dinners but going to be a busy one for sure. Hope you and everyone are doing well, are you set for Christmas?

Assuming you mean on the garden and house etc. First of all hope you’re doing well. Only thing we’ve done is start getting the materials for the raised sleeper beds. Again with losing my job it hasn’t helped. I’ve got a new job now which is a lot better from a mental health point of view but pays a fair amount less. Just trying to adjust to the new way and now Christmas prep. Haha 😜 unfortunately not loads of money going spare. You’re a legend for staying in touch. This new job is very physical I usually fall asleep before I get chance to start editing 😂😂

100% lost count on how many extra trips to merchants and wickes/B&Q there’s been 😂 thank you very much means a lot 👍

Oh mate it was horrendous. Swamp doesn’t do it justice. Only a few months into sorting it out did I find out they should’ve put 100ml layer of topsoil and flattened it out properly. Snagging company probably should’ve been used 😂

However, literally on your own there, I feel you’ve been very harsh. I’m struggling to understand which part was childish. There is nothing wrong with how she was. We don’t know what upgrades are in the show homes before we start and don’t have enough time to go and find out first. (Being a very small channel) Having said all that. Thanks mate. Only update is not a good one I’m afraid. I’ve recently lost my job which has had a huge impact on finances and mental health. Have a few videos planned and filmed but all my energy has gone into finding work. Stress levels are to the eyeballs so just trying to manage at the moment. Sorry 😔

Hello, thank you very much for watching and taking the time to comment. It was filmed September 2021 and we picked up the keys on the last day of January 2022. They tried to get us in sooner but we nipped in a few weeks prior at the start of January and saw sooooo many issues that they fixed before we moved in. Things like wonky outlets and gaps in the kitchen cupboards and countertops, poor laying of bathroom flooring etc. nah we didn’t in the end but alot of our neighbours went with snagsure. sorry for the long message. 😁😁

@@DevoVlogs Thank you so much for the reply! We are having our first fix "hard hat" visit on Wednesday and they are saying it should be finished in October so wasn't sure if that was actually possible. Gosh you had a lot of problems!

Congratulations on the new house October will fly by. If you get a chance to get in before you pick up your keys definitely do it so they can fix some things before you move in. But yeah it’s possible if anything maybe too quick 😂😂 honestly we had a small amount compared to some of our neighbours. Some people have had nightmares with the water tank and burst pipes. We’ve had no major issues. The biggest was moving a towel rail but that wasn’t bad to be honest. I’m sure you’ll have a wonderful time regardless. ❤️

100% it can be difficult to arrange some of these new build bedrooms to accommodate clothing. Not many of the show homes have anything for this unless the room has enough space for a fitted wardrobe. It’s something we always look out for and shelving in the bathroom for toothbrushes etc.

That’s a good question 😄 we bought a Bellway home a few years back with the extractor fan going to an external exit (hope that’s what you meant) but it does run the pipes etc through the walls. I would assume that Bellway houses are the same but in truth I’ve not thought about it. I’m sorry I realised I haven’t really helped here I don’t think. Do you know which would be best, or preferred?

We’re based in north wales, we probably won’t be able to get to them 😕 my apologies. (If that’s what you meant). If it’s not what you meant then no there isn’t unfortunately they’re quite far away. Are you thinking of getting an Avant new build?

I bought one three years ago before they were bought by persimmon. I was just curious if they had changed much
