Man that era of consoles was so awesome but, I've been too much into Switch collecting to start buying retro too. Only Console i have from that era thats fully functional is the Wii. Great video though. Keep riding that Xbox hype train!

Lmao at the intro with Too Human! Bodycount is a strange one, as apparently the developers stated it was based on a Lady Gaga song lmaoooooo (dead-ass serious too). Rogue Warrior I FINALLY got for PS3...can't wait to laugh playing that game. You reminded me I need Alice Madness Returns on PS3, but that one is a bit pricier and I want one with the Online Pass not used lol. Some serious banger pick ups here man!
A Lady Gaga song?! Wtf? That is such a random thing to get inspiration from. Those devs were probably high. I think you’ll find some enjoyment with Rogue Warrior, it’s certainly a game that could’ve benefitted with some extra polish.
I do wonder if Online Passes are even still being sold today, or if Alice Madness Returns has an expiration date.
One thing to keep in mind when comparing the price surge on games between the 360 and PS3, is the PS3 can be softmodded. The 360 can’t, so it’s hardware mods (and delicate soldering) only. Fewer people will be modding their 360s, which will keep demand for physical media higher than for the PS3.
People thought the PS2 market would cool down after the surge last year, but even with softmods readily available for that console the demand (and price) keeps going up for rare titles. Once nostalgia kicks in, the sky is the limit.
I love the FEAR series. I got all of the games. You should also check out Shadowrun, Viking, Jericho, Dark Messiah, Fracture, and Quake 4!

I swear the best game collecting hack is living in europe cuz these prices always spike in the US first and the EU market takes like a year before they adjust the prices. I remember getting Haunting Ground sealed for £10 when it was already a $100+ game over in the US. Now both are rare obvs
Interesting! Some people made it seem like it never spikes over in Europe but it sounds like it does but it takes some time. Sick that you got Haunting Grounds for that much, I love that game!
Nice to see Battlestations Midway and Pacific get mentioned on here. I think they’re fun and underrated action strategy games

I love "Bodycount", which was created by some of the original team who made "Black".
"Battlestations Midway & Pacific" are fantastic & there expansion DLC I bought for both game. "Xcom The Buerea Declassified" is a favorite of mine, get the expansion DLC while you still can. "Dark Void" is a real gem, it has a little DLC as well. On all my favorite 360 & PS3 games I love owning all the DLC for, which the masses seldom talk about or even know they have it.
"Rogue Warrior" was so fun I layed through the entire game in one night, Mickey's voiceovers are priceless!
"Star Trek Legacy" is a must for fans of the iconic series. All those "Fear" games are must own, there's 4 in all.
"Need For Speed Most Wanted" is worth good money, although I only paid $20 years back.
By the way this "FOMO" term is an old 1970's expression for Salesmen back in the day, coined by Zig Zeigler in his book "See You At The Top".
The complete version of "FOMO", is, "The fear of loss is stronger than the desire for gain." It was a technique for sales people selling back in the day.
One thing we mustn’t forget about is the DLC as a lot of games from this generation had pieces of the story locked away with dlc. That explains why Bodycount was seen as a spiritual successor to Black, thank you for the clarification on that. I was looking at a book store and saw some of the Rogue Warrior books and was like, yep, this is accurate. 😂
I wasn’t aware the term FOMO’s origins but I do now. I hate to use it but it’s certainly gotten to me. Thankfully it’s helped me grab the 360 games I’m still missing. Hope you’re doing well Dean!

@@ScorpioCesarcade glad i bought a copy around 4 years ago for $25. just bought a nice stack recently though, warhammer space marine $30, saboteur $20, viking battle of asgard $10, sniper ghost warrior 2 $5, and battle fantasia $25 (BF is getting pretty hard to find)
Madness returns is so good! I wish I had played the original first, as it was unplayable after enjoying the sequel, at least to me. I got a lovely figure of her from the game! I wish it was the Hysteria one, but it still is pretty cool. Great video, brother! ❤️
I wish I jumped on the NECA (I think?) figure of her when it was around. Yeah, the first game hasn’t aged too well unfortunately. A shame EA are a bunch of scumbags and can’t let the license go so American McGee can make that sequel. 😭
Alice is one I have to get to. I definitely recommend The Bureau, that's a good game. Great selection there.

Oh man, Lollipop Chainsaw had to hit you in the wallet pretty hard I imagine. I have it but it’s missing its manual and has a reprinted coverart. Hoping to complete it one day but I may just wait for the remaster.

Liked the story a lot. Plus the Arkham beat em up style combat with a very interesting story. Didn’t get a lot of hype but it’s definitely worth it.
Remember Me is one I found during my retro game hunt back in September and I was more than happy to add it back into my collection. What a solid game that was severely overlooked. Glad to see more love and appreciation for it!

Oh hell yes, Alice Madness Returns! My brother and I played through that game back in 2020, it was so much fun and just plain badass.
It really is a dark epic adventure, I loved all the environments it takes you through and the story revelations at the end! 🤯
Dark Void was crazy good! Even if it is clunky by today's standards. I loved the action games on the 360
7th gen era was where I feel action games were perfected, sure there were a lot of average ones but so many flew under the radar.
Harder to find them in the wild for sure
But it’s always more fun when you do find them in the wild.

If people don't buy as much as they can, those copies will be gone. I mostly go auction for some of the games. I typically score them for .99 cents or 5 dollars plus shipping. Less hunting at stores and just have it delivered to my mailbox. Final fantasy 13 lightning returns happens to be very limited on xbox 360 but plentiful on ps3.
Which is why I’m doing this all now so I don’t have to deal with it later. You really never know with some of these games. $5-$10 is always a sweet spot for me and it’s hard to say no to anything in that price range. 😂
FFXIII’s trilogy is backwards compatible too so I can see that playing a factor in the pricing as well.
I think buying now is the smartest option. I have a feeling when the market officially closes people will then start to panic buy physical copies. Just picked up Terraria [$14.99] for the 360 today, had no idea it had a physical version. I grabbed it because I figured like Minecraft, when the market closes people will probably buy those physical versions up!
I never played Terraria but I have heard of it. I even came close to picking it up in a claim sale recently but I held off. Let me know how it is!

Agree that claim sales are a better choice to get some retro games and sometimes even new gen games as well. I buy from young treasure all the time very trustworthy!
I think about 60% of my game collection came from claim sales! You can really get so many great deals from them. Young Treasures is indeed awesome, love when they have a great deal to claim.
I actually really like Morphx so far. Played for a couple hours and yeah The Suffering is the best comparison. The upgrade system makes this game. Probably the most unique and fun way to upgrade your character, plus you can change your upgrades whenever you feel like it.

@@ScorpioCesarcade Yeah I agree the combat is quite awkward, and the biggest downside is only being able to carry 1 ranged weapon. Still pretty fun imo.
I do like messing around with the PhysX engine and destroying boxes with the sword.

You're welcome, I like your straight to the point style alternating gameplay with showing the games on the rotating plate, that's a neat way to show case and booklet. I think you only lack a microphone in order to get rid of the reverb and you're good to go!

Im not going to lie, I find it interesting how much people are willing to pay.
It is interesting, I follow games that are up for auction to see how high they go and sometimes it really makes me scratch my head. Blur and Jurassic the Hunted surprise me considering they were multiplatform. Granted, Blur is a fantastic game made by an awesome company. Jurassic the Hunted is…well, I still gotta make my video about that someday.

i think most wanted is pricy because its the ebst version on console yeah no denying that btu it cant be remade due to music licenses and alot of people seem to have a obession for it i played it orignaly on ps2 then xbox but usualy do it on pc if you know where to look you can get it for free lol
Anytime licensed music is used heavily in a game then the chances of it staying up digitally or ever getting remastered drastically goes down.

Flock is on the Capcom compilation 360 disc but I wouldn’t advise buying it just for that. There’s a couple of gems on there like 1942.
