Please help this young lady.
20 year old Samantha came home from her day of interning at the Iowa DNR as any other day. When she attempted to light the stove an undetected gas leak ignighted and exploded. Samantha sustained severe burns all over her body and was life flighted to a burn center a few hours away. While she is battling recovery and is looking at the high probability of surgeries, skin grafts etc. let try to help her as much as possible. Any donation is appreciated. sharing this video and message is also a help.
If you would like to donate to her Go Fund Me you can do that at gofund.me/92a01cdd

    Thx for doing the video, you really like the tire. I recently put this tire(235/8516) on my 3nd gen taco. The fuel milage dropped from 23mpg at 70mph running the stock tire to 17mpg with the Duratrac. This tire is approx 1in taller. I've also notice some slipping on wet pavement. Otherwise the tire seems fine on the hiway(handling/noise). Discount Tire set the tires at 35psi. Just wondering if lowering the psi would increase the mpg. What is the optimum psi.

    I've had Goodyear duratrac on my Toyota Tacoma 4 less than three months have not even put 4,000 miles on them in the tread it's coming off big-time, mastercraft courser on my Ford ranger I got over 20,000 miles on them and they still got big knobs! Mastercraft courser much-better tire, that's just my personal experience!

    • @UsedEveryDay
      @UsedEveryDay 9 місяців тому

      I cant speak to the Mastercraft Courser since I've never ran those tires. The Goodyear tires in this video ended up getting 62,000 miles before I replaced them. And I only replaced them because a poor front end alignment ate up the front tires. Had that not happened I'm sure I would easily have gotten another 5,000+ miles out of them.

      @UsedEveryDay Рік тому

      You are absolutely right. The statement claim was purely mathematical and not expected to be realistic. I did get 62,000 miles before my bad alignment ruined them on the edges. had that not happened I would have gotten 70k for sure. We’ll see how the new tires hold up.

    Good Video, Useful Information. I would add direct in the title, "HOT HOT HOT" in other words, you were prudent in metioning the panel is always HOT and you have the 200AMP in OFF Position. Safety wise for all levels of knowledge, people need to know "HOT / CALIENTE." All major hardware stores and electrical supply houses are very good about ratings and weather proofing of periferals. The rest is, "take your time and don't do anything boneheaded." Also, a pedistal is powerful enough to cause dangerious "leakage." Hence, you would not be foolish to wear electrically rated gloves and boots during all work on a pedistal of near a pole. EVEN WHEN THE MAIN BREAKER IS OFF! Another recommendation is to have all your wire and periferals readied away and before you are near the pedistal for connections. Again, this is due to leakage. Leakage is somewhat rare however does occure, especially in damp weather and situations where grounding is difficult (rocky and unstable platforms). Again I am being hyper cautious, however UA-cam is for the general layperson, hence the common denominator demands, "the very most conservative" methodology. Thanks! GOOD VIDEO! MarkMannM2

    I own a 98' Nissan Pathfinder SE MT only problem were actually done due to driver error. Wife trying to learn how to drive stick burnt the clutch. Replaced it with a stage 1. Currently in the process repairing front fender bender. My father borrowed her cause his Prius was being serviced. He was driving and stage 1 clutch hindered him from downshifting resulting in him rear ending a truck. Besides that my one gripe is trying to find affordable all terrain tires it says stock is 265x70R15 for SE and 235x70R15 for the LE. 15 inch tires are expensive these days. Planning to go to 16in Rims. More selection and pricing planning to do a 4in lift some other off-road accessories and upgrades. Anyway great buy!

    I have the 1k lumen version of this light. It seems very solid, 3hrs on high 10 on low is decent if it can actually pull it off. Only thing I dont like is the non replaceable battery. Basically makes it a disposable light, just seems a bit wasteful.

Please stop buying Smith and Wesson, they sold their branding rights in the late 2000’s to bad Chinese OEM’s that up charge their knifes for the branding vs material costs. There are so many better options out there of lifetime pocket knives for the same price.

    • @UsedEveryDay
      @UsedEveryDay Рік тому

      I didn’t say it was a plus. Just said it was the same as the previous Pro model. I wasn’t really mentioning pros and cons in this video, just stating how it’s built. Removable batteries is subjective for some users and I see advantages and disadvantages either way. But, even if you could, sourcing a replacement 4000mah battery would be challenging and the cost probably wouldn’t be much cheaper than buying a whole new light. The majority of the expense is in the battery. And i’ve still got the Pro model which is built very similarly and after fours years it’s shown no signs of a problem. I’m pretty happy with that.

    So living at 9400 ft in Colorado this has been my go to tire to deal with mud and snow primarily. My tire guy talked me out of going with my trusty Duratracs. Went with the Falken Wildpeaks and man they are scary in the snow and underwhelm me in the mud. Needless to say my tire guy is buying them back from me due to my battles with their subpar lateral traction.

But I have a hard time believing they would be any good off-road, mud or snow.

    Several more code violations. Regular Romex not rated for wet locations, box must be secured, and metallic box must be bonded to ground with pigtail to outlet. Outdoor in a raceway is still considered a wet location. GFCI doesn't need to be rated 20 amps with duplex receptical and should be weather resistant and tamper resistant, the only need for 20 amp would be if equipment pluged in has a 20 amp plug. Other than that, looks good, I'll gave you an A for effort.

      We’ll have to agree to disagree on that one. While it’s not great it did get better with use. But for $34.99 not much can be expected from it. I do have a Gerber assisted blade knife that is much smoother with a faster action but it also cost twice as much and rattles worse than the change in my pocket. To me it’s a complete disappointment. At least the Smith and Wesson is a functional, useable knife.
