for everyday use, ballpoint. better grip/feel on the paper, can write on both sides of a page without bleeding through.

hi, samuel could you tell what GSM paper do you use for your inhouse notepads, like the one in the video the one on you sketched the pen ?

I rarely use a ballpoint or rollerball anymore, but there are instances when one or the other is the best choice. When faced with that I use one or the other, put it away and go right back to the fountain pen of choice for the day.

As a side issue, it is unfortunate that most sales people in Montblanc stores do not really know much about writing instruments in general. I asked if Montblanc had any pens in celluloid and they asked me what is celluloid.

Qing dinasty amazing

That Qing dynasty looks really fantastic - controversial opinion, I like it more than the 88 edition. To me, the all jade cap is more interesting than the gold inlaid jade cap of the 88 unit model.

I understand that you sell a beautiful, expensive and uniques fountain pen. I LOVE your content... but I you whant a not expensive wood fountain pen, exist the HongDian 6016. Made of nature wood with solid brass cap which curved with 12 zodiac chart and 24 solar terms, very unique and beautiful. Natural wood barrel is different from metals or other synthetic materials, because of its natural properties, each pen's texture, and color will be a little different from other.... so, is unique too

A bit off topic but could you do a video solely on Montblanc leather goods? As pen collectors we appreciate fine leather goods too. Pen pouches, bags, notebooks, wallets etc. I know you did one about 7 months or so ago but it was also about a few of the pens.

The website shows the Anni 60 as black. This grey doesn't reflect the colour of the I was expecting after looking at the website pictures. Personally, I believe that black would have been much nicer.
