WTF are all those XLR wires for... looking for Sub RCA out of my AMP from SUB OUTS to a Sub woofer using RcA to XLR adapters.... this confuses the shit out of me.... Have you tested QSC's?

I did buy a sub 1 couple months ago and I have a little house party couple days ago and was first time really I push them hard not over limit the light was on green all time but after 1 hour of playing I feel little bit of electrical smell like burning rubber but was not anything wrong with sub's so still sonds perfect . I want to know base of your experience did you get same smell when you play little hard . Please let me know . Thanks and also thanks for your good videos and reviews. Thank you.

Bose is lightest 35 lbs, draws most energy....$899. Rcf is over $1k, heaviest.....Behringer is 42 lbs, draws half the energy, only $299.....you can buy 3 for the price of the others......they should have included harbinger s12 in comparison.

Man I have 2 s1 pro like you, and I played in outdoor usage, the bass sounds heartbreaking 😢, will sub1 adding could save this problem? Around 50 people in outdoor party..

If l understood correctly on earlier models: Those subs should be 29" apart for maximum efficiency. Not stack closely. I could be wrong, maybe its a new design that lets them be stacked on top of each other.

If Behringer put their 12 in a little bit larger box like the RCF it would perform deeper but they decided to keep it as compact as possible. At the price point the Behringer is a better buy. Personally I wish the cabinet was close to the size of the RCF to get that added lower frequency response.

Hi BestProAudio, I had an issue yesterday with my Xr 18. I did EQ room sending pink noise from a cellphone through a link stereo channel. I solved my EQ room and after that I turned down the pink noise to play a FLAC song but. The pink noise did not get lost even unplugging the stereo link cable. I restart my XR software, turned off and turned on the XR 18, I load a different scene and the pink noise did not stop. I went to the meter page there was no sign coming into or going out on the XR 18 and the pink noise was there. I check my FX page and nothing, so I had to use an analogue mixer I could not record my concert and we play without monitors because I did not have enough time to set up monitors. It was not the first time that I EQ room. That's why I was lost and did not find the answer. I tried to find this on UA-cam but it seems that nobody has has this issue so far. Thanks if you have an advice. Julio

What is the max current draw the behringer at max volume?

Are these louder like QSC K8.2 or CP8.

Sounds like it was recorded on a smart phone, and all three speakers are making the comp/lim on the smart phone kick in the majority of the time. It’s hard to draw any conclusions from this kind of a comparison. Why not use a 24 bit handheld digital audio recorder or a laptop with DAW software, a good digital audio interface and a matched pair of matched condenser mics?

After many attempts to set up the Bose equipment, I must admit that I am satisfied with my sub1 and 2xS1 Pros. First of all, you cannot increase the volume on the speakers too much if you use an external mixer - the bass setting at 1 p.m. is quite sufficient for two Bose S1 Pro. For me the best setting is LINE IN EQ to LPF, and line out EQ to HPF (white). I don't like setting HPF to green, what about you?

I just bought a set of 2x s1 pro and 1xsub1 and unfortunately I think it will be difficult to DJ for 50 people. The bass above a certain volume simply knocks as if it had no excursion and there is no bass, only an impact can be heard. Now I don't know whether to buy a second sub1 or replace it with one sub2. I have both Bose Sub 1 and Behringer B1200d. The Sub 1 seems to have a slight audible delay on the low end beat when compared to my Yamaha top boxes . I am very sensitive to this as I use this set up as a backing PA system while I play live music. The Behringer is not as deep, but the bass drum sound hits tightly on time. Is this due to some sound processing lag in the BOSE, or the Behringer's higher efficiency, or maybe the BOSE is trying to move more air at lower frequency, which has more inertia. Feels like a phase alignment that is just a few milliseconds out.
