If you want to eliminate the button from Rough Country completely and wire directly into your high beams, which wires would you use?

I tried installing a rocker switch wit 8 connecters on it I could get the light to turn on but couldn't get the switch to work unless I connected the blue and red

If I am going to tie my lights directly in with my high beams, do I still need the relay that comes with the kit or can I wire it like you did (tying the two red leads from the lights together and then using a common ground)? Thanks for your help!!

Where did you get the red accents for your grill

First, thank you for making these videos. Your attention to detail is superb. I did not remove the knee bolster, I simply cut the hole for the switch box and was able to mount the fuse box by just pulling the bolster.

A professional technician would not do haft of the job. It's very important to remove all the components completely out so nothing gets damaged. This is not a proper way to do the job as a professional technician. I recommend removing components

The up fitter switch is NOT worth what it provides. The 5th switch output is hidden behind the CHMSL of which requires the headliner to come away which requires the c and b piller plastic to come off. Also the up fitter switch kit does NOT provide ground and it does not terminate in the engine bay. Realistically only 4 outputs are avail and still only leaves stubs. It does provide brake control power but but For WAYY less hassle, a digital switch panel from amazon with the load center remotely located is far more cost effective than the designer up fitter kit

Great video wanting to add to my 2019 3500 Denali. However, I can not find the plug-in for fuse box anywhere under the dash. Is the 2019. I know the knee bolster is different will retrofit.

Dude, you could have just used the new knee bolster as a stencil like I did to cut the hole in the original bolster...this is what I did...I didn't need to take any of those panels off!....I even squeezed the 2 screws in for the fuse box without taking that bolster off all the way...the whole job took me 45 minutes...and it looks just as good as yours.

So the relay in upftter switches replace the one in wiring harness?

I have a 2022 sierra denali. I don’t have heads up display. Am I able to add just the switch or will I need to add the heads up display as well? Great video

Nice install. Mine are still sitting in the box next to my RC front fascia kit and my pocket flares! I’ve still got to order my upfitter switch, wireless phone charger kit and Ram air hood.

I don’t have any power going to the auxiliary fuse panel, does anyone know where it’s powered from through the main fuse box? I have backlights on the buttons but no output

Just FYI the aux 5 green wire runs up to the third break light. Already up there if you wanted to add a light bar or whatever on the roof/a headache rack.

job well done - my first time owning a GMC Sierra 2500 with up fitter switches - Am I to understand that any accessory that I install (light bar, fog lamps,,,,,) I will still have to run each accessory wire through the firewall to each of the 4 remaining wires? On my f-250 with up fitter switches , all I had to do was connect each accessory to specific number/color wiring manifold under the hood. no need to go through the firewall. please clarify

Hey, I know your video is a little dated, but it has been very helpful in my Auxbeam Switch Panel Install. My only question is, I ham running in to an issue with getting the head of the wiring through the gromet area due to its size. Is there another way to get it through the firewall?

I used these part numbers and ended up with a parasitic draw and Chevy said they were the wrong part numbers.

Can u tell me if the wires are live and u need chassis ground ?
