The switch or the cable? If your cable only has 2 wires then only connect the 2 bottom connectors of the switch, if your switch only has 2 connectors and your cable has 3 wires then you only have to connect the black and white wires

Upfitter kit is the way to go I followed Your lead on that and I'm super Happy with it. The parts were $289.00 with tax and delivery.
