@@chandrazanpacku2704 I think officially they are banned in Cambodia. But you can easily buy them at smoke shops. You just may not be allowed thru airport with it. I’m not fully sure cause I don’t vape. Try googling it

@@Insightreviewer my rent is $350 but you can find places for $200 even. And food is so cheap here. I eat out for every meal and spend $10 total in a whole day. So in a month your budget will be like 800 dollars for everything. My first teaching job paid $1250. - now if you buy drinks every night and piss it away then it can be hard to save. But beers are only $1 anyway

@@charlesobengacheampong771 yea in Cambodia they stopped the accommodation but lowered the price accordingly. They provide a list of recommended hotels of varied levels close by to the training. I believe the Ghana teacher positions are still available- they needed 10 in total. The most direct way to find out is to Email Peter the course director. Correct and correct. I work for a school here in Cambodia- a language center, that conducts classes online as well as in person. I choose to take online students. It does not matter how many hours your work as long as you work for a Cambodian company or school. When I renew I just get a letter of employment from my boss showing I am still employed by them

@@beaulong after looking at many in the city - this place actually is the size of a $450 place. It would be hard to get a place like this for under $400. I haggled them down -- $250 is more like Khmer style places with no elevator and very dated. - but you’re right if you go away from the city like Kampot, or Siem reap you can get an entire house with yard for $250

I think it also depends on if you officially make yourself a non resident of the USA. im not totally sure. I’m Canadian.

@@ShawzyinCambodia I haven’t done many solo and the deal can vary depending on the bar but what’s most common is $50 per person in the band and free beer all night. Some places also give you a meal too, or bar tab allowance on top of the pay. Sometimes when you play with less people or solo you could each keep a bigger share. Doesn’t always work cause often the reason you got the gig is cause they thought a solo or duo act would be half the cost of a band. High end jazz gigs you could get $75 to $100 each but that’s a small niche I’m not in.

@@ShawzyinCambodia most bars are hiring a solo act with the $50 each mentality in their head. And if you try and propose a higher fee, there’s 5 musicians lined up behind you that would play for $50 or less. But if you build a relationship with the bar and they do well on the nights you play they will pay more. I made $75 in a Duo before. So they gave $150 for two of us. But I only have one story like that.

You have to ask each landlord. Normally it’s 6 or 12 month. If you go shorter they’ll charge more per month
