This is such "Bee Ess." Rock stars somehow think they get a "pass" on living a moral life and being faithful to a partner, which every one else on the planet is expected to do. They don't love anyone but themselves, simply using relationships to fulfill their own needs. If you want to say that the guy is a great singer, ok, but PLEASE don't say he is a great man.

I went to a Rick James concert specifically to see Prince open the show. Prince had just released his second album. I had seen him on some late night music show, I don't remember which one, so I knew who he was (nobody else did). Anyway, after Prince's set, I watched the first song or two by Rick James, then left. Can't stand that shit. Prince alone was worth the price of admission. It could have only been better if Rick James hadn't been there.

The most "brilliant" thing he did was to convince people that he was a genius without being a genius. But it was probably not him who was a genius but fools who believed it. Prince copied from others. He was not a genius. And he was not honest either.
