That's a petrified booger on the back of the Daredevil 25. While this might sound bad, petrified boogers tell a story. They let you know where the book has been, like a date or store stamp. You might get a grade bump for that.

I don't think CGC cares about that line in the spine. I see 9.8s with that.

I put my books inside Gemini mailers and then put those inside a larger box along with packing material.

I just found your videos when I was looking at the Palm Beach Presser site. Love your analysis of comics. I do a lot of the same thing. I am intrigued with your spreadsheets! Are these available anywhere? I am new to the hobby and have grown to quickly love it. To fund the hobby I have to buy and sell in order to get the ones I want for my personal collection. I really like the way you analyze the values. I am definitely watching more of your videos. Keep them up!

I’ve adopted your strategy to buying books. I bought a copy of hulk 181 from hipcomic/infinity last week which was way more than I expected to spend, but with a clean and press hopefully it will come out looking good

Wow, I sell on Atomic Avenue and when I pull my comics to get ready for shipment I always double check the condition. I would be embarrassed to list these as NM. I never list my comics in NM. I use VF/NM.

Love that Superman! Really enjoyed this timed unboxing, too. The shipping switcharoo is something that really ticks me off. Some online sellers are so narrow minded. The goal is to retain customers and have them buy from you again, not a one and done. Excellent video! 👊

Comics dont qualify as media mail because the have advertising. You cant ship them with media mail. Post office will charge regular rate if its a comic book

Some beautiful grades. Emerald Twlight and the New Fantastic Four bring me back to my childhood buying books off the newsstand. I loved both of those stories back then.

I haven't bought from Mile High in decades. I find their books are typically more expensive than anywhere else.

Nice books in a vacuum (I especially love the DD 38 as a Doom cover collector...it's on my wish list), but bummer they weren't in the advertised grades. I always enjoy watching your spreadsheet at work haha

I’ve never purchased from Mile High. Thank you for falling on the grenade and reassuring me that I don’t ever want to use their business. The discount isn’t really a discount, and the advertised grades aren’t really the grades. Sounds like a great place to waste money. I would never buy it if I didn’t have pictures to go off of. The crease you mention on the FF 79 (mid front cover, right edge) is more than likely a printers' crease. These can exist on VF and higher books--although, the other issues definitely bring this book down to the 6.0 range. The discoloration on the bottom front cover of the Nick Fury book looks like a dust shadow to me.

Is it bad that I feel like ordering from MH and another big eBay seller (initials CSC) is like going on a stealth mission into enemy territory to try and liberate stolen treasures? Also curious if you’ve noticed the bags from MH have a strange texture, very dry and powdery feeling, not like most glossy bags. It’s weird.

I'm also staying away from M.H. Another idea might be to contact them and see if you can return them for a full refund and not take the loss to test their Customer Service side of things as we would all benefit from that knowledge. I would not be happy at all as I'm the same kind of collector as you I believe. I also think that your grading was spot on as well as the analysis you continually provide to us...Thank you!

Wow, I'm staying away from VF at Mile High. I'm glad you are narrowing your qualifications to find good deals at MHC, but you won't have to worry about me being a customer there.

I too have been hiatus from infinity auctions. I just got back this week with some nice wins. I know I didn't bid against you on your books from this show, but targeted several of these before but not recently.

What a stack! You’re definitely handling things more conservatively which will shift your focus to quality. I’m a little worried that you’re doing it with online scans as opposed to retail/cons because a single book purchase could have big downside, but you’ve factored that in. Yes, please make this a “to be continued” video! Does Coverprice have an api? I haven’t found one.

Do you still have orders received by CGC in Aug that you have not recevied yet ? Mine from Aug is still pending. lol
