Love your nails in this video 😍 lovely to catch up on what you’ve been up to also. I ended up making exactly the same adjustment on my saguaro tops and trousers, found the elastic uncomfortably tight. Like you say, lots of unpicking but worth it! 😀 xx

A 'Hawaian' shirtdress for that lovely tropical fabric!!

I made the Nell too and I downsized by one size for my first version, and had to take two 4cm darts in the back of the bodice, but it is still too big. I have therefore decided to go down two sizes, but I will also lengthen the bodice by 3 inches as the first version was empire line on me. I made the midi length skirt, but did not make it as long as the pattern suggested as I only had 2.5m fabric so just cut the bodice and sleeves, then halved the remaining fabric for the skirt which came up mid shin on me and I am 5' 4" tall. Will try the Fleur dress next. Did you need to go down in size for this dress or did you just do with your correct size? Love you fabric godmother fabric it looks fab' on you. Love your McCalls pants in red look the swishy fabric. Will get the pattern and downsize as you suggest.

Liz, you look lovely in your gorgeous Calvin Wrap dress! It really suits you. Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful fabrics and patterns and plans. For the white background paint splatter fabric I thought you could sew up another Saguaro set. That way you could wear them together or as separates. The Saguaro sets you showed look great in you. Anyway, happy sewing. ❤

Love having your vlogs back as their full of fab makes.If you use horizontal buttonholes instead of vertical on your dress you'll find they don't pop open.The horizontal means the button can move when you move. Loved the idea of a red trim with the black and white.Definitely make up a dress for your anniversary in that stunning fabric.

Hi Liz Kate from the fold line recommended the Common Stitch Pipit Vest to replicate Ailsas vest. I’ve sewn some of their patterns before and they are quite easy.

Hi Liz. The black gingham skirt with apple trim is adorable. It's also inspiring to hear about your modifications of the Saguaro sets to make them comfortable. My mending pile has one jersey nightgown I made where the lower sleeves are just too narrow, so it's gusset time today. Wishing you well as the acedemic year comes to an end, Antonia

I love your raspberry wide legged trousers- they are gorgeous 😍 for the stretch tomato denim how about a pinafore dress or shorty dunga’s? Would make it more of a transitional piece then for spring/summer or summer/early autumn.

Hi I wanted to message you on IG but it didn’t go through. I wanted to ask you what the differences are between the everyday dress and the Indigo? I have been making different patterns that are similar and I could easily add to the Indigo to have a keyhole back, but wondering if I am missing out on a beautiful pattern that may teach me a new skill or fit differently? I have recently made the CnN Ivie and the TATB Mabel, and they are very different in fit and construction. I am about to sew the Silveraaga Eleanora to see if that is as wonderful as people say. Maybe a video for you could do would be a similar patterns comparison since you make so many variations of similar style patterns? I think you sometimes discuss this in videos. I appreciate your thoughts. Thank you.
