what page does the story get more serious with the dragon attack? I lost my spot months ago.

The one thing I did not like about this book was the big missing gap of info in the dragon hunt pages 125 and 126, one moment Roger is at the edge of a forest and then the next page we are at the end of a battle with three dragons and a lot of people dead. I literally thought I had turned two pages at once and missed something, but no that part of the story did not exist. I enjoyed the rest of the book but not that part.

The mask at the start was peak! Loved the update as always! Interesting perspective on AI in relation to writing at 5:36

I'm glad you enjoyed The Dark Between the Trees, I don't mind a book being ambiguous and not giving you all the answers but I thought this book was the complete opposite. I loved the first half of the book, it was so well written and was mysterious and atmospheric but for me it lost it's way a little and became pretty predictable. Not a bad book just not as good as I hoped. Great video as always man and that mask is terrifying!

Hey Justin, cheers for the tag, there are some really cool questions in this one and you had some really interesting answers. My favourite local bookshop has a cafe and the way some folks leave their rubbish and cups is shocking, it takes 5 seconds to take your mug back to the counter.

Lots of interesting books in this one, hope you've settled in well and found a nice reading spot. I have The Last House on Needles Street but haven't read it yet, I have read Little Eve by Catriona Ward and loved it. It's a slowburn gothic/folk horror that was so atmospheric, worth a read if that sounds interesting to you.

That's a mighty haul! It was really cool seeing all of the non-book pickups too. I bought Superunknown by Soundgarden on vinyl and some Powerwolf cds, that's about it for pickups.

I've been reading The Farseer Trilogy by Robin Hobb which is amazing and I finished The Weejee Man, a creepy folk horror that was pretty good.

I bought The Book Eaters a couple of months ago whole browsing the second hand shops, it sounds very intriguing as magical realism is a genre I haven't read a huge amount of. The vampire book and Leviathan sound pretty good, I think I'd enjoy those. I'm in my Summer reading slump, I've read maybe 200 pages in the last 2 weeks, I'm too busy enjoying the wonderful, rainy English summer 🤣 Great video Justin, happy to see you back 🙂

We Only Find Them When They're Dead (6:46) sounds interesting, I always like a good space opera. It reminds me a little of Knowhere as depicted in the MCU where they are harvesting the remains of a celestial's noggin, but it takes that similar idea and runs with it in what sounds to be a very intriguing direction. Very cool video!

I really liked the superimposed artwork over the written text at the 4:46 mark as well as the almost hypno disc style artwork that appeared at 6:32 (the music timing there also had an almost Earthbound SNES-style sound that happens when the screen distorts in that game, which felt very appropriate for that page). And the Michael Myers depictions were very well-illustrated, always nice to see horror imagery presented well. Great video! ❤

Awesome job again. Just read the many deaths of Laila Starr. So awesome 👌. Loved upgrade soul and eight billion genies. The art was hard to follow in we only find them when they're dead sometimes. Plus all the red suits and similar faces.
