Hey Reed, you take requests? A. Anything by Brandon Sanderson. B. The Lot Lands trilogy by Jonathan French. C. The Greatcoats Series by Sebastian de Castell, and finally D. The Song of the Lioness quadrilogy by Tamora Pearce. Oh, and E. The Locked Tomb series by Tamsyn Muir
Not so much on requests tbh, unless they overlap with books I'm already interested in, or I take interest in. I'm honestly not very interested in Sanderson, but I won't say never. I did try Gideon the Ninth last year, but I was struggling to get into it and ultimately DNFed. It's one I may go back to at some point though, Necromancers in space is a cool idea.
The one thing I did not like about this book was the big missing gap of info in the dragon hunt pages 125 and 126, one moment Roger is at the edge of a forest and then the next page we are at the end of a battle with three dragons and a lot of people dead. I literally thought I had turned two pages at once and missed something, but no that part of the story did not exist. I enjoyed the rest of the book but not that part.
I read an arc of I'm Afraid You've Got Dragons and I agree the villain needed to be fleshed out. The Last Unicorn is one of my all-time favourite books and yes, you need to read it. Read the original publication not the newer publication called The Last Unicorn: The Lost Journey which is the first draft. Beagle also published two short story collections last year which I enjoyed.

@@reedmorebooks Understandable. I can get totally not being into Brandon. I like him, but fair. Keep up the great work my guy

what page does the story get more serious with the dragon attack? I lost my spot months ago.

When and if I get around to The Last Unicorn I'll keep that in mind about the editions, thanks!
I can’t wait to grab this book!
