I need to change the seals, should I replace the acucator and then change the fluid???

Somehow, I found a way to get stuck doing this… I’m unable to unconnected the electrical connector… doesn’t seem to have a standard little slide connector. Stumped.

My problem is, the arm on my door actuator won’t move😪

I bet your ground wire must be connected to a true ground by connecting directly to a grounding rod

How did you rotate the flat side of the shock post to face to front of the suv? Did you jack up the lower control arm to loosen the bolt and rotate the flat side of the post using a crescent wrench? or dId you remove the strut and compress the springs with spring compressors to loosen the top nut then rotate the flat side of the post?

I bought the same one from Harbor Freight yesterday after viewing your video, but there is no tune sound detected at all after the wires going inot the ground. I think the signal is too weak. I just ordered F02 Pro from Ebay, hopefully it will work.

This helped tremendously. I've read other places you had to take off the bumper to do this, so it saved me a potential huge headache!

No way to u need to hit it hard. Just pry it out, it just slips out. Also, remove tie rod end from steering knuckle so disc assy etc can be removed towards the left of cv axle.

Do you know what the part number was for the driver side? I have the same issue. The number I have on the part 06700-8870 is not coming up on the Lexus parts website. I can find the passenger side with the bracket.

this lexus trucks are hyped up crap i must have replaced this same bulb 5x already!

Idk why the gx is notorious for the turn signal bulbs to burn out very frequently

About at 4:29 should the hose fit over that second flare near the bend? I did this process but can’t remember if it fit over it or sits next to it

I did this about a month ago and mine is leaking again. But I think just from the new oring not the seal this time. The first time the actuator was filled with oil. So I am going to pull it off again :(

I'm sorry, I do not believe this video is legitimate. I used this HF tracker, and the signal is so weak that the sound of the sensor goes to zero within 6 inches away from the conductor. That was my baseline test, simply holding the sensor wand directly up to the wires the cable tracker transmitter was clipped on to. No length of cable or materials to attenuate the signal. Can't sense thru more than 6 inches of air? Not gonna find anything underground. The only useful application of this tool is for electrical projects, where you have multiple cable bundles exposed, and you're just trying to figure out which one is the one that connects to someplace in another room, without hooking up live AC power. In that case, where you have perfect access to all wiring, and just need to know which wire is which, it's useful. Absolutely not for sprinkler wire finding.

I just picked one up as a second vehicle. My driver blows HOT and passenger blows kinda cold. And rear ac blows the coldest. When I check the ac codes in the screen it does point to an actuator problem. I will check this later today. I do believe I’m a little low on Freon also I remember seeing some bubbles in the site glass. I have ac gauges also. Thanks for the informative video! I love this car since it’s fairly easy to work on and diagnose.
