I like how you made such a beautiful soundtrack then made a joke out of yourself in the game. 😆

I was nearly crying tears of joy the first time I saw all of the friends I guided Team Snakemouth towards making along the journey in the game at the ceremony (and I don’t cry easily)! I found it so rewarding to have completed almost all of the side quests before finishing the main story. I didn’t yet know how special it was that I was also able to talk with the bugs on the roof of their house.

Honestly when I read the last lore book this track kept playing in my head, the day of reckoning, rains of fire, all that stuff, I can't comprehend how small and defensless you must feel seeing clouds of fiery smoke beyond the size of mountains in the distance, they sure didn't have it nice like goddamn.

I always found it both odd and disturbing how there are bees in snakemouth lab. Are they even related to Vi? Or were they from another hive, now destroyed because of the roaches?

IMHO: Team Maki and Team Slacker deal more damage and have more unpredictavle attacks, but Team Snakemouth has insane endurance thanks to all their items, revives, and damage reduction. Also, Ice Rain is just as overpowered when it's used on you, especially if all the icicles hit the same target.

After reading the log on the bestiary of this guy, I can only quote Abridged Integra from Hellsing Abridged "You know, you weren't completely wrong... You just didn't have to be such a d*ck about it..."

So, funny thing about this soundtrack. At Holiday Matsuri 2024, I heard this soundtrack during an event on guessing a Video Game's soundtrack. And I was wondering to myself: "This sounds familiar." and several people got it wrong until I answered: Bug Fables. I was shocked not many people played the game, and I gain a lot of appreciation for not only this game, but also this soundtrack.

Experiencing this song in the game for the first time was an absolute blast! This is another great addition to the already amazing soundtrack!

Years later, already enjoying the 5th anniversary update and knowing that I and other Bug Fables fans are still so passionate about the game, it still amazes me to reflect on how much emotion it brought me. Moments like discovering the secrets of Leif’s past, learning Kabbu’s backstory, watching Vi hug her sister when they reconciled, and so much more made the game so memorable for me! The Everlasting Sapling motif is something that always brings back so much to me. I can only imagine how it will feel in the future. I still have a little bit to go to 100% the game; and I’d appreciate a sequel. Here’s to making more memories!

Can we get a bug fables 2?

This track genuinely gives me chills whenever I listen to it, I love songs that represent how far the protagonists went in their journey and this didn't disappoint. It just feels so *triumphant* , almost like if it's what Team Maki hears when fighting them. I dont really realize it due to their goofiness and generally silly personalities, but Team Snakemouth is more than a bunch of seemingly out-of-place bugs that just happened to meet by chance, they're *heroes* , heroes that took down a tyrant, heroes that helped everyone that needed it (even if one of them was reluctant of it), heroes that will be remembered for years to come, but most importantly, heroes that share an unconditional, familial bond like no other.

Besides the electro sounds (0:28, I have a lukewarm attitude to it), this boss theme is incredible and underrated (major lack of covers/remixes too).
