Maybe, but what would a bird be doing hanging out in an abandoned house? I think it being a housecat is much more likely.
I bet it's a human, just grossly mutated and undead due to whatever apocalyptic event happened before the bug awakening. But we can't be sure unless they explore it in a sequel, but that's what makes the giant shadowy monster scarier: ya don't know
my theory is those things are what killed the humans that survived whatever happened during the day of awakening. i mean, think about a few of those and hundreds of dead landers coming to rip you apart, nobody is gonna survive that. they're honestly terrifying, especially when even the protagonists explicitly say they would rather not dwell on the subject and would prefer to ignore them.
POV: oh god oh fyck
I was listening to "The Ones Who..." because I was in a nice mood, but UA-cam decided to jumpscare me by playing this song right after. I turned autoplay off, I checked both before and after it happened, and besides... this song wasn't even the next to play! I gotta say, that very much replicated what it was like to be caught by Deadlander Omega when playing the game.
Dead Lander γ was from the enemies the most who scared the shit out of me when I encounter it. I have literally no clue what it is. I first thought it should be a Creature who has a black head with a red eye. When I realize this is actually a black giant Eyeball with a red pupil I was more terrified when before.
fear
block tales fear+!!×+
Certified pine tree
When I first walked into the line of sight of the eye and then I had to fight the dead lander I was actually scared, how did you manage to make music that struck genuine fear and panic
I like to imagine the Dead Landers as the incarnation of pesticides
...
Ok on second thought that just makes them even more terrifying
They're the amalgamations of undead bugs dead from being sprayed with pesticides
I personally think they're pure fungi.
I like to think that the Giants had a garden, and the Dead Landers are mutated plants from there.
@@thediabolicalraisin8953 @TangleSlime2 Since all plants and fungi are weak to ice, you both may be correct, due to all dead landers (besides the giant one) being weak to ice.
@@TangleSlime2 See other comment I did because it didn't notify you I think
I feel like I saw some monsters that live in Cthulhu Mythos
same here, and I expect that there are many more Dead Landers
*SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT SHIT*
That's basically the song in a nutshell.
"No more healing after this point? It can't be that ba- *_ayo is that a ganon eye_*
Since the very first lore book I excepted this to be set in a post-nuclear war world and the entirety of chapter 7 just confirmed it to me.
