Lovely place. Subscribed
It looks like a rocket. We probably got the designs from that.
I did it solo in 2 days alone. It almost killed me, The last half mile I was hallucinating
I've done this hike many times and your video is great! Where did you get the inserts that protect your feet from rocks? Thank you.
Have you done WURL yet in Utah?
What state?
Whed did you go there? Its better in july or october? Thanks
When did you go there? What's the best period of the year?
You most definitely Rock … 😊
Great Video! I really like you hat, where can I find it?
Great video! Such a cool hike. My husband and I did a rim to River in late September. While it was hands down one of the coolest things I’ve ever done, I want to underscore for others who want to hike the canyon how important it is to research, plan, prepare, and train for these hikes. We saw a lot of people in really bad shape on trail and at the bottom. Temps at phantom in the shade were 101 on 9/25/24 and even today 10/9/24 high down there is going to be 98. Have fun but prepare and stay safe! Don’t underestimate the canyon.
Stumbled across your content thanks to algorithms... I'm in the UK and just completed the Cumbria Way trail, which is stunning in a different way to Yosemite... Loving your content already, watched the rim to rim to rim and will look forward to watching your other uploads... If you are ever visiting the UK try the Cumbria Way or Coast to Coast... Some alternative content... Thanks and keep doing as you have a natural way about you that makes it all the more enjoyable to watch... 🙌💙👍
Another great video! Please do a logistics/route planning overview of this trip ❤
I can absolutely do that! is there anything you'd like to know specifically so I can include it in the video?
@@trailandtravel What mapping tools do you use to plan and what are some recommended sources for research on a backpack destination? Customizing a route based on one’s skill/comfort level? Thanks!
Love this was just out west and was begging to do angels landing I was to late to sign up sadly we didn't get to do it maybe this year
That's a tough time of year to get a permit! I hope you get to do it someday though, it's incredible!
Admirable!
Thank you! It was a great hike!
Gorgeous!!❤❤❤
Thank you! It was wonderful!
Amazing
It truly was!
Another amazing adventure and great video!! Love the mindset!! I also revisited your Wilson Mountain vid last week, because I'm planning to do that and Rim to Rim in a couple weeks - can't wait =)!!!!
Thank you for watching! Good luck with Rim to Rim, its an incredible hike!
Great video!!
Thank you!
A most beautiful hike and narration. :) Is there a map, that you can direct me to, that goes from Mirror Lake, Snow creek, to Sunrise and Cloud's Rest, or that what you took?
Thank you! Im going to do a logistics and planning video on this hike, ill share my alltrails map that I used so you can see the whole route that I did.
It's all about the Journey not the Destination.
yes absolutely!
Woah it looks like a tourist postcard 😍 it takes my breath away 😇 it's awesome you enjoy your hike and you took your time but made it to sleep and have an awesome sunset🏕 and walk to a wonderful sunrise 🌄😃 It perfectly work out 😃 I hope your recover your muscles well and quickly 😊 Thanks for sharing your beautiful videos I love them😊 take care 😇
Thank you for watching! It was such an incredible trip, I have fallen in love with Yosemite!
@@trailandtravel That's awesome when you try an other time and your whole experience have change for the better 😃 also thank you for sharing because those images you capture make me want to experience many hike in Yosemite 😊
This was incredible! Every time I have gone to Yosemite, it has been a mess so I had kind of wrote it off in my mind; just not meant to be. Now? Wow! It is definitely back on the list of must do places! Thanks for a great share!
It's defiantly still a mess! lol but I think if you can get into the back country its pretty magical! Thanks for watching!
I loved the stream of self-reflection throughout the trip. Beginning on day two’s recognition that your choices to slow down on day one really made the trip worth it. And Cloud’s Rest views were amazing - way better than last time. You even caught a few images of Mt. Clark, or as I call it Potato Chip Mountain, which has long been my icon of really getting into the back country hiking. I loved all of the beautiful views as it reminded me of just how beautiful Yosemite.
I have really fallen in love with Yosemite, it's such a special place! Thank you for watching!
Such a beautiful and unique presentation my friend! Scenery is unmatched as well as your narration!
Thank you for watching! Im glad you enjoyed the trip as much as I did!
Definitely well worth the adventure 👍👍
absolutely!
I’m just about half way through the video. When I saw you were going up the Upper Yosemite Falls trail, the agony of defeat hit me. I’ve tried that trail twice. The first time included my mother who was not able to do a trail like this. The second time I learned and just took my fittest friend. We made good progress until the last big set of switchbacks, where there had been a substantial rockslide. The trail was closed and we quickly realized it was also way too dangerous to try. This, two tries and two fails! So glad you made it up and over to North Dome. If you have not done it before, you need to take the Half Dome trail and look over the edge.
Going up Yosemite falls was TOUGH! it was so hot and steep, getting to the falls was such a relief! I can totally understand why this trail isn't for everyone!
Where did you park? I been researching where to park and people says the neighbors there put signs that says no parking
There is parking off the side of the road south of where these are located, that's where we parked. It makes the trail a bit longer but will prevent you from gettin in trouble with the locals. lol
@@trailandtravel you are awesome thank you 🙏
What shoes and socks are you wearing? 😊
I was wearing Feeture socks and a pair of Altra lone peak 6, nothing fancy! just make sure your shoes have good grip. walking in the stream gets little slippery sometimes!
@@trailandtravel I just finished the hike in mid 90s temps. Was wearing Salomon’s and neoprene socks. I absolutely tip my hat to you for doing that in 117 degrees.
I'm too claustrophobic for this one! Lol
I defiantly couldnt let myself think about it too much lol. It was really neat though!
It really was spectacular! Really cold!
VERY COLD! lol but defiantly worth it! Im so glad that you went and had a great time, its such a unique experience!
Dramatic
yeah, probably a little..
Totally not a realistic experience of the Hilton in Tahiti. We were there one year ago.
Well this was our experience! We had a great time.
on the road to hana but where?
Right before hana. It’s easy to find if you search it on google maps.
Well done! Congratulations!
Thank you!
Well done, both the hike and video. I really enjoyed that.
Thank you!
“We survived a flash flood” proceeds to just give information on how to avoid them 🙄🤨 click bait much.,,
Sorry.. just trying to figure out the algorithm.
Beautiful footage and slightly misleading title 🙏
Thank you, sorry I’ve been trying to figure out how to maximize the algorithm.
@@trailandtravel i can relate its hard to find the balance sometimes
I’m going to the Hoover dam today
awesome! I hope you had a great time!
I love Zion. So beautiful.
It’s an incredible place!
You did way more than most people do in a lifetime. Way to go !
Thank you! It was an amazing journey!
I m inspired to hike here :)
It was amazing, but really hot! Be ready for a big hike!
Great video!
Thank you!
Great video list and breakdown. I'm going to save this for a future rim-to-rim hike. Can we take hiking poles in a carry-on bag? No right?
im not sure about bringing poles on the plane... maybe call your airline and verify?
Beautiful! Thankyou 🙏🏽
Thank you for watching!
The water actually looks a bit higher than normal. Probably why it was tough to find a camp spot
yeah could be, it was a pain in the butt to navigate the reed section at the bottom. I got tired of fighting them and just decided to set up near the water. I felt like I was going to get a lot of push back for doing that but I felt like it was the only option at the time!
Its so blue! Pretty!
It was such a cool experience. Way colder than I thought it would be but totally worth it!
Beautiful church!
Its such a unique church!
Oh wow that waterfall is huge!!
It's enormous! the spray from the bottom is insane!
My first big hiking trip was there we left one car at the visiting center & checked in and drove the 2nd car up into the mountains we ended up hiking down to the river we had just missed a big forest fire everything was still smoldering, and it started to rain that should have been a red flag. Our hike was supposed to take 4 days to hike back down to the visitor center we cut it short by one day and ended up in the ice cold river for 14 hours, when we checked back in there was a warning that there was a 60% plus chance of flash flooding.the next day back home we found out there was a flash flood later that day. I would not have known what to do. And most definitely this one person wouldn't have made it 🙄
sounds like an incredible trip! And maybe I would make it in a flash flood, but I also wouldn't go hiking in a slot canyon like this when there is a 60% chance of flooding. 🤷🏽♀️
