I have watched so many of these episodes and I still can't figure out what the auditing is all about. And also what was it that drew all of these people to scientology. What is the point of scientology ? I mean this as a sincere question.

Op Pro By Dup is a great process when run right. In the late 80s there was a group at CC that was an acting group that had an improv activity called Opera by Dupe that was quite popular but was shut down by the LRH Comm because she said it was "joking and degrading". Pissed off a lot of people.

This was a good interview. Personally i appreciate that Mr Miscavige has codified the existing processes and focused more on cleaning up and sorting through all the stuff LRH did. Things are much more exact and understandable now in my opinion.

Great episode, Homer Schomer!!! His story is incredible, so many posts, back and forth, up and down the org board, there is no way to include all the interesting details. I wondered how Homer got into ASI and what his ASI highlights were?

Amazing information and awesome to hear from Homer.

A consistent theme to all of these scientology stories is that the parents are willing to give up their children to pursue scientology. I will never understand that.

Natalie fisher became the LRH Com for AOLA back in 1972 or 1973.

My wife worked with Homer at ASI and part of why she wanted to leave Scientology was how Miscavige abused Homer.

I knew Carl Carlson as the CO OF ASHO Foundation and he was a very high ARC executive who the crew very much admired. I saw so many flag programs that targeted good competent people as the "who" for down-stats. Generally the real reason for downstats in orgs was insistence on compliance to unrealistic flag programs that were based on poor information sent uplines from exasperated staff members and flag representatives.

I had not heard the scabies story before. Interesting. For info, one does not get scabies from sitting in the grass--It cannot live in soil and incubates on humans for some time before symptoms or signs. This parasite lives only on humans and does not go between animal and human. Poor hygiene circumstances for whatever reason typically underly infestations such as homeless groups, etc., and is very contagious, as described here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC8308645/

Question: I know he loves his daughter very much... but did he question or make sure she got a proper education? Where was the responsibility in all that? She had been basically fending for herself since she was 10... and did she actually do the RPF as a kid? The facts on that that were not clear as you all jumped to something else. What happened?

Oh man!! I am so glad that Homer is telling his story. Last I saw him he was not very healthy. I met him at Flag as the Treasury Officer, and worked with him a shot time. When I heard he was missing from Flag, it added to my urge to leave as well.
