Reptile convention? I'm a bit of a reptile person too!! I have a bearded dragon named "Senor Guapo" (Mr. Handsome in Spanish) that I've had for about 7-8 years. At night he hangs out with my son and during the day he stays in the room where I work with my dog and I. lol. Some day I think I'd also like to have a tortoise too. I'm curious to know what reptile(s) you have. I used to also own quite a few iguanas ... one or two at a time. Those Malabrigos are gorgeous! I love the subtlety of the color changes in the Mandala. Very pretty!! I have really become quite a fan of the Mandala. To me the colors are gorgeous and I like working with the yarn and for me, it's nice and soft and good for blankets, sweaters, scarves, hats ... works for me!!

Nice catching up Amy. I finished my Sholach blanket last week. I'm working on a Jeanne Steinhilber blanket design currently and have realized I really don't like triple crochet but will finish the project because it's a gift. I get you when talk about the stress the yarn remnants cause some of us. 😂 I really need to organize my office slash craft room over the holidays 😁. Have a lovely week ahead.

Amy, I have the same issues with all the "variables". When I find a pattern I want to make, I will start with the size that I am and I get about 5 inches in, and realize that I am WAY off, so I have to go down a size or two. Then trying to decide if I will like the outcome and if I want to adjust the # of colors or stripes and how will I work that in....Anyway, I think you did an awesome job with your sweater! I hope you get a LOT of use out of it! BTW, sometimes I make the sweater in an acrylic to make sure I write down all of the adjustments, and then think about making it in a wool/wool-blend to make it super warm!

Hi Amy, about the squares, I thought you might of had a good idea of making rows.by making rows you can put them by sizes and if you dont have enough squares of a size-Thats when Amy comes in and makes some of her squares to size to finish that row. Of course it looks like that big daisy flower will be the middle.This was the first thing that came to mind,just relax and dont feel you need to get this done asap.
