Love all the yarn you chose, especially the blue. Just getting on here and chatting about some of the yarns you have and stitches would be a good video. You don't always have to have finished items. I love the hat pattern. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Samantha! Thank you so much! I love to hear where people are from, so thank you for sharing! And I knew I said it wrong as soon as it was out. hehe. Thank you!!
Hi Amy! (I waved back at you). It was great to see you! My haircut has thrown several people off! lol! I love it though. Thanks for the basket handle info. It’s really helpful. I’ve never made a basket. It’s now on my never ending mental list! I did buy that yarn❤. You got some beautiful yarns. No way! I pulled out my yarn. I got That Somewhere too but in one of their fingerling weight! That’s so funny! The other color I got 2 skeins in is Koi Pond. It’s one I’ve been wanting since the fiber festival. You got some beautiful colors! Sometimes life gets in the way of crafting. You just do what you can and keep enjoying it!
hi Amy, love all of your chat. Have you looked at Chandi at Expression Fiber Arts? She has amazing projects in the lighter weight fibers. I'm about to start the Sugablush shawl, using yarn I bought from Chandi. I look forward to your new videos xx
Hi Sandra! I am very fond of Chandi's work! I find myself looking through her patterns frequently. Thanks for the suggestion in the group! That shawl is gorgeous and I hope it goes well for you! Let us know! Thank you so much!!
Amy, You don't always need a finished project. Maybe sometimes you could take about stitch styles, or crochet terms. I learn to crochet in the 1980's. My BFF taught and she learned from a book. I used books for years. When I retired I started watching UA-cam. The first time I hear "colorway" I didn't understand. I had to google it. I also heard one UA-cam caster talking about crochet rules. Rules? What rules? Do I need to find a books of rules?
I finished a hat. Woohoo! And there are no rules in yarn color selection! It’s what is pleasing to your eye! And I do like those brown ones together. I like all 4 different colors They make a pretty shade blend together.
Hi Cynthia! I love to hear how people learned to crochet so thanks for sharing! I am constantly learning new terms and it's just so great to be in this community!! Rules - Schmules - In crochet we do what we want to! Thanks so much!!
I like the purple better too!
