Missing Man - Joe Schuette 08/07/21
For my dad..
Who was taken from us too soon, due to Covid-19.
He loved airplanes, he took me to see them every year at the airshows from the time I was very little. He is the reason I love them, and the reason why I fly DCS.
After he passed, the guys gathered for an impromptu missing man for my father. I cannot express how grateful I am to my guys at USLANTCOM for putting this together for him.
Love ya dad, you will be missed.

Today marks the start of a new series for us here at US Atlantic Command. Interviewing our members that have served in the US Navy in a capacity other than aircrew. Showcasing the folks behind the scenes that keep the jets flying! I do apologize for some of the sound during the interview, Discord was being a little uncooperative today as far as audio quality. I was able to clean up the audio in...

I was trying to use the external power to insert target data to the weapon with no success at all...
Hey, is the pilot able to insert data on waepons system with groundpower only?
Very good!
I actually met and hung out with Bio last year at VAC. Cool dude for sure..
If any R.I.O. is looking for a Sierra Hotel driver, I'm on FW3.1 DC till further notice. Cheers!!
THIS is the best explanation Ive seen on the internet...Ive been looking for antenna elevation tutorial...THIS HELPED! Thank You!!!! - RIO
Has this channel been abandoned? Will there be any more uploads?
I was in VF 101 in 93! I was in the AT shop for 6 months but got sent to corrosion since I was low-man. Still better than being a line rat😂
This is why I wanna join these fine aviators, the experience and knowledge they have is something I've been looking for since joining the dcs community in 2019 and i love the guides if i ever got the chance to join them id do it
Awesome Video, but how that tomcat is repainted is a disgrace.
This was really helpful. Thanks.
*Takes 50 mins to cover a TF-30 start up??? Geezzzzz just watch Top Gun: Maverick at the end of the movie!!!* 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Thx, learned Alot
Thank you for this! :D
Could use chapters
Pretty steep stuff....gonna take a few sessions to get this into the box.
E-2 would definitely be cool
Did you remember all the fuses and switches ?
This is great. Found this link via a friend who commented I may have a long-lost brother out there in the ether, lol. Coincidentally, I did a few vids of a very similar nature on the Polychop Kiowa Warrior (OH-58D), about a year after you did this, apparently. Several hours of just "geeking out" on switches and dials in the cockpit, in excruciating detail. Search for Kiowa Warrior Detailed Intro if you're interested. Nice work.
Ah yo! This is what I’ve been looking for! 💪🏽

God these background noises are SO annoying..

Rotesck
I enjoyed Bio talking about his job on the A model, of which I was a proud maintainer when I was with VF-142 in the early to mid-80s, but for the love of Mary, what the hell was going on in that hangar? Were they tearing it down and trying to put it back up at the same time? Madre, I had to go back a couple of times to try to hear what the man had to say with all of that infernal banging around going on.
Hey, you cleared up something big. The RIO only calls the ball after the pilot tells him to !!!!!!!!!!!!!! You all have mislead us for a long time.
@ 1:31a Fellow TWEAK! Nice! I was VAQ-139 1998-2001 (CVW-14) EA-6B's always loved the Tomcats thanks for the RIO tour ALQ-99 was my specialty - loved Mode 4 checking up on deck nightcheck - and loathed removing aft power supplies AT2 "Tex" Allred
There are too awesome machines that man created . The Saturn 5 rocket and the f14 . Sorry nothing more bad ass
Do you guys have a bowling alley in the hanger alongside the aircraft?
I am fascinated with how advanced this was for late 60s-early 70s tech. Grumman and Hughes were truly ahead of the times.
Fascinating
Hey, can y'all make a better jester? He misses 99% of the shots I take. I dont wanna hear about using him wrong when his coding is TRASH. " I Lost the Lock" "Swithching to Stt, O dang Lost em". Clicks off special option in menu " I LOST EM AGAIN!" TRASH ASS JESTER TRASAASSSSSSHHH!!!!!! I getting spammed with aim120 all fukin day long online WTH!
Do you know if the g valve inflation test button on the left console is clickable?
Staying in full afterburner, the F14 will run completely out of fuel in just 8 minutes. Thats 5 gallons per second/33.5 pounds of fuel per second. This is with internal fuel load only. No external fuel tanks.
I learned so much from you and I'm in CSG-8 and I tried joining CVW-11 and I love this airframe there aint no fighter I'd rather fly its just a handful for me but its a BEAST!
So, aspect angle from the Navy to the Air Force are opposite. Right? Be sure to check which branch you are flying with to avoid confusion.
I'm so glad you did this with the Hornet. @ 49:30 your voice was calm. @ 49:38 ...s#it just got REAL!! Thank you, CVW-11 and Eagle Dynamics.
If I play with jester in the back seat, does he automaticaly tell the phoenix to go active? Because If not and I skate, wont that trash the Phoenix?
Great video and a question :) How do you know the reciprocal heading of the bandit? How to know the bandits heading in F18 Radar`?
Can you please make a more specific and detailed sequel to this video? I'm very fascinated by this information
i re watch this once or twice a year. its the gold standard as far as I am concerned
Hey dude, I was in VF-41 from 1992-1995, did most of the deployment from March - August 1995. I was in Admin, YN3 Snead. How do you get into using the virtal aircraft?
