Those were such good times, all the socialising in the fishing guild as a kid. Everyone was fishing lobsters to get to 76 fishing for sharks only to realise sharks were way too slow. Back to lobsters it was xD

The other chunk that you rolled to get into the Dwarven mines isn't bad right aways. You can't get into the mines unless you unlock a chunk that let's you up, like the monastery or goblin village.

Jagex murdered RuneScape. It was so amazing back in 05-06-07, it was awesome. The first nail in the coffin for me was warnings and barriers when entering the wilderness. Dude, wtf? It was supposed to be a gamble that a lvl 3 newb could pwn u with some level 99 magic from a distance and steal all your stuff. Nothing like waking up at 3am to enter the lowest populated Netherlands server to finish a quest in the wilderness 🤦‍♂️😂 the second nail in the coffin for me was upgrade after upgrade after upgrade. It looked good at first, then it kept happening, and it was awful. I swear Jagex drove this game to its death because it did not listen to the voice of its user, but yet again, placed where people discuss stuff like Reddit hadn’t surged in popularity yet. I feel like back then people did not complain NEARLY as much as people do today.
