Thanks for the info it helped me land a 4lbr! Do you happen to know the color of the osp blitz you used? The Max dr gets down to 10-14. Is that the max dr or a deeper diving one? In the video I believe you said 15-18

@@Epicjfp Dude that's awesome!! The color I was using was Tasty Shad. And yes, in the video, I said the blitz max dr dives 15-18, but that's because usually I throw it on 10lb flouro. However, with 12lb flouro, it only dives 13-15. I didn't realize that until after I had made the video.

Oh man I totally forgot that line has an effect on how dep the crankbaits go 🤦‍♂️ I’ve been using 30lb braid. Thanks for the reminder

It's called an Umbrella Rig or A-Rig (Alabama rig). In California, you're allowed 3 hooks on the rig. Other states will have different regulations

@@smallrodsquad3539 welcome to the valley! These lakes have gotten super crowded on weekends (I don't even try) as the population keeps growing. Bartlett has the monster cats down deep at the dam. Apache is a great all around camping/fishing/skiing lake lil harder to get to and folks there are genuine lake rats. Saguaro is more of a bro truck party lake and as the lowest of the four also the "dirtiest". Canyon has true deep water, steep rocky shoreline, and very few beaching spots (keep an eye out for long horn rams on the cliffs above!) Good eating size cats aroung the marina at 40'. 60lb carp if carp are your thing.

Hey! So sorry for the late reply. I use some pretty old Canon downriggers I bought secondhand off of ebay about 5 years ago. Tracker's have a rail mount system, so I actually just built my own mount that fits in that and so far, it's been working great. Sorry I couldn't give you some exact info.

Yes, I use an A Rig. I can control the depth of the lure while trolling by using leadcore line or a downrigger. I personally prefer the downrigger and that's what I've been using recently, but there are days where they only seem to want to bite the leadcore setup and idk why.

I was using a roboworm 4.5" straight tail on a dropshot. A pretty common and effective technique in SoCal

Sorry for the late response. The only reason I run them straight back is because it is easier for me to grab the weights to clip on my line. If I wanted to spread out my lures more, I can definitely run them to the side and extend the arms, but on my boat, I have very little issues tangling lines with it the way I have it and I make very sharp turns.
