Awesome video. I’m going to pyramid in a month and renting a boat but I’m worried that since I don’t have a downrigger, it might be a little tougher than it should. Any tips? Or should I save the money and just fish from shore?
So sorry for the late reply. Shore fishing at Pyramid lake is always pretty consistent. Guys do very well throwing normal So-Cal lures on the rocky banks. Personally, I love a green pumpkin/purple craw bait. My go-to is an OSP dolive beaver 3.5" on a free rig, but anything else in that finesse 3-3.5" size seems to work great out there. Good luck!
