    Anyone have info on converting the trailer to 12v system to run with a ordinary domestic truck? Is it difficult or simply changing out the connector plug and bulbs? Does that trailer have brakes? Is that something that can be adapted as well? Thanks

    • @marklindquist6905
      @marklindquist6905 3 місяці тому

      Open up the engine compartment and find the black button to push to prime the pump. Push down hard each time as many times as you can until you can’t push down anymore. At the control panel, switch on to pre-heat for 5-10 seconds then turn switch clockwise (switch to start). Hold starter on for 5-10 seconds after the motor runs, then let go. The diesel engine will belch black smoke for a few seconds at first, but keep the start switch on. Once the engine is running well, you can let go of the switch. Hope this helps.

    Hey Mark. I recently came into one of these and cannot for the life of me get it to run off of the auxiliary line. I’ve confirmed the float switch is in place in the tank and freely moving but the pump doesn’t seem to fire up ever to move fuel from the backup tank. Any tips on troubleshooting?

    This man is right, oil is cheap, people changing oil every 3000 miles for Diesels, will have a happier Diesel, people who change their oil every 6000 miles will have a happier petrol driven motor vehicle, people who change their oils on their motor bikes every 3000 miles will have a happier motor bike, if you had a Generator with Inverter, you would expect it to operate over the 24hr cycle to be no more then 1/2 gallon per hour, as a inverter gen set will only use 1/4 gallon of fuel per hour at 50% load, these army gen sets are cheap to buy but expensive to run, its a trade off, my suggestion is to do your maths, as for your needs it might be cheaper to but a Gen Set with Inverter.

    Over 2 years later. HP updated the HP Click, I can print pdf files. I will always print my posters created in Illustrator in pdf format because the colors match what I see on the computer screen and the quality is so much better than printing them as image files. I can resize them without loss of quality. The software is still a disaster, and other reviewers agree with me. The firmware is updated. The printer would occasionally run the 45 minute 5 step print system check. This year it started running it almost every day again. HP support recommended that I not turn it off, but to unplug the printer at the end of the day. That "worked" for about a week before it started running the print system check again. The next recommendation from HP was to leave the printer on all the time and let it go into sleep mode. Again, that "worked" for a little bit. But the printer would randomly come out of sleep mode. One night it came back on and stayed on all night without going into sleep mode. I doubled checked the settings, it is set to go into sleep mode after 20 minutes. It does not go into sleep mode anymore. This printer is faulty, and has been faulty from day one and HP refuses to do anything about it. Because this is a software problem, it is not covered under the warranty and they will not come out to look at it. I have asked many times for them to look at it. They will not send a tech out for a software problem. Every time I talk to HP support, I ask why the printer runs the 5 step print system check. Someone designed this printer and software. There IS a reason why it does this! When I print my first poster after turning it on, it will run a short print system check. But why it continues and runs a 45 minute 5 step print system check, they still don't have an answer. I see on the HP website for the Z9 and Z6, "hurry, last few remaining". And they are on sale. I hope that is a sign they are discontinuing them and fixing the errors for a new series.

    Thank you Mark and Dr Robinson for your work. I purchased The Lindquist Legacy, Spalted Wood and Spalting 101 all by Dr Sara Robinson. I am glad to be a small part of the research done by Dr. Robinson. I was very much inspired by The Lindquist Legacy and sculpting. Yes, I have been a member of the local AAW chapter and there are those who think you should do it a certain way and have made critical comments of those demonstrating. It is an aspect I have not liked but I must remind myself that many more are not that way. I really like Mark's philosophy of using your own processes particularly in ways you enjoy to get to the end result.
