Hi, i would ask to you a question about the measure of the main unit: could you give the approximately height dimension w/o the stand supports? Thank you very much
Good job Mark. As you mentioned if one is to opt for the Gloss Enhancer upgrade ( for photographic prints one should) best to install it upon the first initialisation to avoid redundant calibration and feed cycles.
Thanks Neil. Correct - if planning to use GE, definitely upgrade from initialization. The good thing about the Z9+ is that if using only matte papers or canvas, etc., the gloss enhancer feature is not required. That can save a lot of money in the long run since once the Gloss Enhancer capability is started, it can not be undone.
Mark, thank you very much for this. There is not a lot of content online about the Z9+. I am considering purchasing one. Can you describe the performance of the Z9+ vs the Z3200 or any other HP wide format? Has print quality been as good? Thanks!
Mark has the Z3200's still. I don't but going by memory the new Z9 is at least twice as fast if not more. Print quality is on par or better depending on the nature of the print. Some gradients are smoother with the Z9 over Z3200 series. I'll try to get a review up as soon as I can.
I feel I'm hearing the voice of Proenneke. Calm, soothing, comforting. Great watching your videos :)
Thank you. Quite a compliment. Dick Proenneke was a favorite film maker of mine way back from when he first started. Thank you for the kind words.
There is a local print shop near me that uses a Z9. I've never ordered a print from them though so I have no idea how good it is.
Hi Mark, is the print result on par with other brand (canon pro 4100) ? for photo print on semigloss media.

Hi Thomas - I have done another video evaluating the Z9+ here: ua-cam.com/video/0vDan9Ijtyg/v-deo.html
Can this print vinyl?
There are some substrates HP sells, but I don't think this printer prints vinyl.
@@marklindquist6905 thank you
Can this be used to wrap cars?
No - not that kind of printer.
